Hello!
I am new, and I would like to first extend my thanks to all that contributed in this forum. I found this accidentially a month-ish ago and was fascinated by multiboxing.
I was a long time player of WoW since its launch five years ago. Started November 23, 2004 and took a long break exactly two years ago (My baby arrived and she will be two, tomorrow)!
I have no problem with chemistry, but I have an extreme adverse mental learning block with anything that is computer!
I browsed and read the forum, and this is what I am planning to play 5-man PVE/PVP content.
I am doing a linking in the format of A (old account) -> B -> C -> D -> E through RAF. In account A, I have 3 BC 70s, Pally, Locky and a Priest, gears are blues/green from quests. I also have purchased ISBoxer using Innerspace. I found Ualaa's guide extremely useful, although I haven't setup this yet. (Psst, I hope you like the free time Ualaa! I hope I did it correctly)!
I also find this new Battle.net extremely confusing! I see my old account through Blizzard's Battlenet, but still don't know how to log onto the other four RAF's accounts.
My account name in this forum is my daughter's name: Sarai Emmanuelle.
Again, Hello and will be seeking help, since I am such a Noob!

Welcome to the boards and enjoy your stay. If you have any questions i would suggest asking Ualaa as he's been VERY helpful to myself in the past few weeks.
Congrats on your baby =D and hope you are successful in your journey.

Congratulations on your daughter.
You can put each account on their own Battle.Net email.
Or you can have up to 8 accounts on the same Battle.Net email.
You can RAF either way, it makes no difference.
The advantage of an email for each, is simultaneous log-ins, even with an authenticator.
The disadvantage is, account bound items could become B.Net bound in the future; Blizz has hinted at things like this.
Either way, I'd recommend an authenticator for your accounts too, they're $6.50 each, and secure your accounts.
Since you are five boxing and using Inner Space, each of your character sets will likely have five toons.
When you go through the wizard, it will ask for a character set name.
Clicking on the character set, in the top pane, opens the characters in the left pane.
You'll see Slot 1, character name, then Slot 2 etc.
If you click on the 1 in Slot 1, or the 2 in Slot 2 etc.
It will show the battle.net log in email here.
This will be the same for each account, if you go with one battle.net email.
Or each will have their own email, if you go with one battle.net per account.
Either way, I'd recommend creating virtual configuration files.
This is covered, in the initial portion (wizard section) of my guide.
Virtual configuration files allow you to have different options on each character.
It will also remember the last option you selected, on a per character basis.
So if you go with a single B.Net email for all the accounts, each character in the set will automatically remember the correct account from the drop-down box.
Basically, get into the game once with a set, and it will remember the choices you made.
Wrath of the Lich King, is a whole expansion of new content to explore.
And Cataclysm has been announced, although its not even into beta yet, but it is coming too.
Lots of fun things to try.

Definitely get an authenticator. With battle.net, things seem to have gotten slightly easier for hackers due to the email link to your account.
I put all my accounts under a single battle.net. No real advantage, but I only need 1 authenticator. You simply go to the battle.net user config (or whatever it's called) and there is a command to add your non-battlenet wow accounts to the battle.net account.
Also, it's probably best to make sure you setup everything with ISBoxer before you even get your slave accounts going. This is simply due to the virtual configuration files etc. I don't use ISBoxer currently, but might switch in the future.

Thanks all! I will get the authenticator!
Burning question: How do you use the interact with target (IWT) function to have all slaves interact with a NPC to open up the quest box? I read and created keybind "\" on all my slaves, but when i target the NPC with main, press the "\" key, nothing happens on my slaves' window (I don't see the quest box open).
I must be missing some crucial steps somewhere? Does hitting the IWT \ on my main broadcast to the slaves using ISBOXER or do i have to set it up first?
Thanks in advance for the help!

You need to assist on the main first so that everyone has the quest NPC as a target before using IWT. I don't use ISBoxer so can't help you with that but if you do a search on ISBoxer and IWT I am sure you will find a lot of info (look for Ualaa's posts).

Hmmm, I checked the Key Maps (General, FTL Assist Me) and the key combo is (Alt +Backspace).
On the main, i target the npc, then, Alt + Backspace (for assist main), then spam the IWT keybind (\) and it still doesnt work.
Any ideas?

UPDATE: On my setup, one word: FRUSTRATION!
I give up! This week, I have the whole week off, and I thought I could have this setup and have a go at this, but I failed.
Somehow, nothing works now, even the basic key for "other jump" doesnt even work! What did I do wrong?

Verify that keymaps are on, as hotkeys don't do much if they're not.
The quickest place to get help is in the IRC, which can be found here: http://www.lavishsoft.com/chat/isboxer.php
Also, if you post your configuration, that can help, as others can open it and check exactly what you have done. You can get to your configuration from the file menu in IS Boxer Toolkit. Select Copy to Clipboard, then paste it on a site like www.pastebin.com, then get the link to the config. There's an option to copy the config without the account information now.

Update 2: Progress!!!!!!
So, it has been a month or so, and I finally got this multiboxing to work.
Boosted 2 teams to 60 (4 locks/4 shammies) -- Granted the 1 shammy to 60.999
I don't know how the community was able to boost after lvl45 from SM, but my lvl70 prot pally in green gears could not handle any higher instances after SM.
Now I would like to ask the community for assistance with ISOBOXER:
When the toon on my WoW2 account is hit by mob/pvp, it basically stops and standsstill (can't turn and move, this is even after spamming alt +f combo to make it follow the master). This is only for this team. For my locky team, toon on WoW2 account doesnt have this problem.
Anybody know why? But when I logoff this toon, relog back on, the toon functions normally, but it will stand there again when hit by mob/pvp.
I posed this to LAX, and he said to either reset the default keybinding in thegame so there is no interference. or checking the keybinding manually. I did both and there was no interference with all the pre-set FTL keys and the Ingame key settings.
Thank you! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Are there any mapped keys which are different for this team, then for the team with the warlock?
There has to be something different...
If this behavior is not observed when playing the warlock.
But does exist when playing the other toon.
Your best bet will be to post your ISBoxer config.
Possibly here, but on www.isboxer.com (in the forums) might be a better place.
Click File, and copy setup to clip board (check the option to hide your account names).
Then go to www.pastebin.com
And paste the profile there.
Have it save for a month.
And then copy the URL, and paste the URL in your post.
That way, people who want to help you can load your set up.
And its often easier to visually check for something, then to notice whatever off of a description of the issue.

You might also be having issues with Jamba. It works well but can get confused with IS. strobe-follow should be on.

Alcattle,
I am pretty sure it is not Jamba! I thought it was too at first, then I disabled Jamba Addon, restart the game and use ISBOXER invite, ran around, did my things and made sure that toon of WoW2 account gets hit by mobs. Sure enough, it broke follow and when I switch back and forth to toon on WoW2 account, the camera swirl and I couldn't move and turn.
Ualaa,
NO, there is no different mapped keys. I made all my teams the same way. Since I am pretty new to ISBOXER, i only made CMT, arrow keys for slave movement, IWT and copied the FTL assist key and made it shorter, using "]" key instead of alt +backspace.
I will try to post my config once I am home.
Thanks for the replies!

I have this error once in a while on one of my clients. Usually when i take a portal, enter a BG or gate back (i.e. when it needs to load a new zone). I just fire up the client again, login and that does it. Can be another week without the error, can be 5 hours. Even reinstalling wow from scratch didn't solve the issue. A quick google learned me that many others have the same issue. I just deal with it for now.

Ok Here's the deal (I'm not an expert, but I'm going to talk like I am). This is simply what's worked for me:
I've not been able to get IXBoxer to configure properly multiple teams using the same Main Char (Booster) using a separate Quick-Start Wizard run for each boosting team.
So if things aren't working out, clear your IXBoxer (menu::File::Clear ISBoxer Configuration).
Run the wizard to create 1 team.
Change the Windows Layouts to Switch On Slot Key Press and set an F-key to Slots 1 through 5 (if you like, optional).
This Set is done. Save it by going menu::File::Save As and name it something you'd recognize.
Clear this set (menu::File::Clear ISBoxer Configuration) and repeat these steps to create a new set.
When you need a set, load up ISBoxer configuration and load the set from the file menu. Annoying, but this way the macros created on the fly for your FTL settings in ISBoxer don't get mangled and misdirected.
Good Luck

I did a little search, and it seems like I am not the only person that have this Error#132.
Here is the link from WOW forum:

I am doomed! And why does it has to happen on my TeamShammy!?? Dang it.

What are the specs on your computer? Error# 132 is usually memory related. I am having the same problem at times and mine is a bad RAM stick somewhere.
Once you work through that problem, we can get the rest of the little things worked out. I went at least a month before I got everything working and it took alot of good people to help me get there. That is what is good about this site, we were all beginners and try to help others get up to speed.

If I exit the game with all of my toons at once (broadcast Escape, for example), I sometimes get that error.
It never occurs when they leave one at a time.

I just got this late Dec. 2009.
And YES, i purchased a pre-made because of the 2 yrs tech and warranty....Some will flame me, but that is okay! And yes, baby Jesus cried!
Doing a search for Error#132 on Google provides lot of other people with this, some the only way is to keep your computer cool. Reinstall and defrag does nothing. But I am curious, why only this affect the TeamShammy and not the Locky team, pally team, druid team and the priest? Only affect the shammy in WoW2 account!!!!
I uninstalled the video card driver, got the OEM driver from their site and reinstalled, and result is sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. What gives?

first of all, theres nothing wrong with buying premade.. were not all tech wizzards are we.
can i ask if you are using the isboxer way of creating virtual wtf files for each character?
before i started using isboxer i had lock ups and crashes like yours when i closed all the clients simultaniously and i'm pretty sure its because the os locks the file to the first client trying to write to the wtf and then falls over trying to save settings and wotnot to wtf whilst its already being written to .
I found that closing them separately, one at a time resolved the issue i was having.
Since i started using the wizard in isboxer i never had the problem as the wtf's are all seperate for each account.
just a thought..
