Gear upgrade question

Hi all,
so I have been farming badges and hopefully by the end of the weekend I will have about 75 - 80 Emblems of Triumph. My question now is what should be my first upgrades? I am thinking my tank could benefit the most right now as my healer is pretty much epics from Naxx and some badge stuff.
Anyone wanna take a look at my pally tank and advise what they think would be the best use of the emblems I have gotten so far?

Upgrading from any blue item would probably be the largest upgrade. If it were me I would probably go for the chest first, legs and then shoulders. However, if you want the 2 piece bonus now you would just upgrade what you can based on your emblems - like shoulders and gloves or helm.

You should consider running heroic ToC and normal/heroic ICC instances. There will be a lot of upgrades from drops for your team while you farm emblems.

You should consider the rep weapon from the tournament as well for your paladin.

I agree with Heffner, upgrading the blue slots first will give you the boost from your emblems. Chest, Legs, Shoulders, Ring, Gloves, and then the 75 Emblem helm would be my upgrade path. Personally I was not impressed with the 2 piece paladin tank bonus, at least not while multiboxing, but if it's attractive to you the shoulder and leg order could be swapped to get the 2 piece bonus sooner, however I'm really enjoying the 4 piece bonus.

My gear was similar a few weeks ago, I grabbed the conquest legplates and the triumph shoulders right away, then went for the triumph ring. They were all huge upgrades and I had the same blues you do now.

Cool I will take a look at the Conquest gear. I was looking at my druid and there are only a few items that are a huge upgrade for him due to him running both 10 anmd 25 man Naxx pus lots of Heroics which he got Emblems of Heroism from (he has 99 sitting on him at present and not sure what to spend them on apart from the BoA gear)

My issue at present I think is that my dps guys have started to outgear the tank and on most fights pull aggro on the highest toon :(

BTW, is it worth getting the badge chestplate with the Blacksmithing Knights Chestplate being sold in the AH (last saw at 10k gold)

10K sounds really high, saw it for 4-5K on my server.

I think it depends entirely on whether you want to spend the gold or not, how fast you can aquire badges and what your objectives are with the pally. I am not overly impressed by the 4 piece set bonus so there is really no reason to wear more than 2 of the triumph gear pieces. Getting enough Frost emblems for 2 of the frost gear only from running the daily random heroic may take a while.

Personally I will probably go for the whole set even though it isn't BiS available via 5-man.

If I had badges and gold to burn I would probably pick the gloves and shoulders for the set bonus and go with the crafted legs and breastplate and round it off with the Honorbound head piece.

You won't get through the Black Knight easily with your gear, but you should be able to farm the first bits. I've been putting it off, because I HATE mounted combat, I'm just no good at it. :)

ICC, go try it. I did. I went into the first instance on normal, and got hammered by the third pull so fast I havent had a single urge to go back.

You might be a better player than me, so who knows? Give it a shot! :) Repairs are easy!

I did the first ICC on normal up to the first boss after I got it through the random LFG. My gear is still pre ToC and I got through the initial trash without too much problems.

First boss I pulled aggro before I was ready really and just attempted it once. Couldn't get the pink globe DPSed down and figured I will need to up my dps quite a bit so I'll be back after ToC probably.

With the first bits of ICC what is there to farm? Not too clear on the rewards?
BTW, anyone got any ideas on what would be the best bang for Emblems on my druid? I am thinking his helm but not sure what else I should get ASAP (think I will have about 85 emblems by tonight)

Take the 30 emblems upgrades first (shoulders / gloves) you can do WG For pvp legs which will tide yout ill you get better.

Craft the chest piece, buy the crusader orbs (150g on my server) and make the titanium ore or buy it to make the titansteel bars.

The wrist is still good as well

Yes, I was thining about doing the White Knight Breastplate for my tank, the orbs were 300g on my server and I bought the 8 needed and have the rest of the mats so will get that made tonight.
I hate PvE and so I will probably continue to farm heroics for badges. With 85 badges I have a good head start.
I think with a couple of upgrades on the tank and healer it will make it easier for the rest of the team to speed up running heroics which are currently taking on average at least an hour each :(

Just bought the shoulders and legs for my pally, I then had a BS craft the Breastplate of the White Knight for me. Now I need to gem them and enchant etc. Totally broke now lol.
