First... I run hardware/software hybrid.

Main Machine - 1/2/3 copies of wow + vent
Second Machine - 2 copies of Wow
Third machine - This is newly added but the purpose is to offload 1 copy of WoW from the main machine, and was considering Vent as well.

I run KeyClone & Multiplicity, and Ventrilo often loses it's PTT feature due to a bug in Multiplicity. So I wanted to move Ventrilo to the 3rd Machine.

So my question is, would this work in Keyclone...

Setup a mouse map to ~ button on all three machines.
Setup a KeyMap on 1st and 2nd machines to send ~ to Third Machine as ~.
Setup Ventrilo as a target of KeyClone with only ~ in it's keymap.

Would this allow me to PTT from any of the 3 machines as long as a KeyCloned app was in focus?

although i've never tried it.. it should work

and you may not have to use keymaps... just set the ventrilo keyclone to use a whitelist.. and only include ~

then connect that keyclone into your main keyclone... and all your other keyclones would pass keys normally (no maps needed)

For sanity sake I don't pass any keys without keymaps. It gives me total granular control over what keys go where. Of course, it's a lot more overhead, but I'm OK with that :).

Meh, no dice.

They must be only using input thats hooked directly from the api and not injected keystrokes sent to their application (makes sense when you think about it.)
