View Full Version : Leader autofollowing slave after combat

I'm very new to dualboxing (trying to go at it with 5) and after having run the ISBoxer wizard i was quite content with myself to get everything working.

A problem I encountered however was after my first kill. My leader (as set in Jamba) decided it would be better to follow a slave, and this was the slave whose screen was active before my leader's. Switching active screen to a slave and back to my leader again seems to fix the problem.

Am I forgetting a setting in Jamba or just messing one up?

I have tried the search but didn't find any results, maybe my search-fu is off. Sorry if this has been asked and answered before!

See this post discussing some/all of your issue: http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?p=228420#post228420

I redid the wizard and did not choose any of the follow options and went back to manual assist/follow macros. I'm sure I dont know enough to figure it out so I hope someone here solves your (our) issue.

I agree with lordmythic. Don't use any of the Jamba setting on the last step. You can still toggle follow strobe on and off, it juts won't be set automatically.

Also, if you want to save yourself a TON of headaches read this post http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=26231

Otherwise you prolly go nuts and it's hard to 5 box in a straight jacket.

I for one like the jamba follow settings in the wizard. However, there should be an easy way to just disable character switching follow.

Thanks for your replies!

I had started on Ualaa's guide and it's been really great so far.

I've done a couple of levels on my 5 druids and was basically planning to see what i come across and use Ualaa's guide to fix it :)
