I am just getting into dual boxing, currently I just have my one computer and I can run 2-3 clients at once with low settings.

I have two moniters

I read the guides but couldnt figure something out. Like I said I only have one computer right now (i will be building 4 more with my dad when hes back from japan next month) anyway is it possible to dual box with the one computer? If so what would the hardware be? I read Xzin's post but wasnt sure if I would need to buy any of it yet if I only have one box

Yup - if you only intend to play 2 characters, then you can easily just play using one PC: whether you play with dual monitors or 2 clients in 1 monitor.

Your next option would be whether you'll be using AHK (Autohotkey) or the basic alt tab approach (or have the windows small enough that you can drag the mouse easily between wow window clients).

Xzin and others make a very solid statement that at some point, Blizzard may bring the hammer down on AHK users. But for now, with just basic keystroke being sent to the background/foreground wow client - it's "safe."

I've mentioned this in other posts but a hardware way of doing this which is fairly inexpensive is using a device like a Nostromo N52 or a Logitech G15 keyboard, both which can be programmed with macros to ALT-TAB for you in addition to sending a keystroke to the other window, all with one keystroke.

Just have it do an ALT-TAB, short delay to allow screen to swap, keystroke to your second character, then ALT-TAB back to your main.

Be careful when using this type of device that you DON'T use delays that try to wait for cooldowns to expire (even the short global cooldown) in order to send multiple commands with one keystroke. This can reportedly be detected by Warden and may look like a Bot and can get your account banned.

If/when you move on to multiple computers and more than 2 boxes, there are better options. But this is not bad with one computer playing two characters.

Strictly speaking it is a bot and will get you banned (sooner or later).
