So i've been using the tourguide / lightheaded / jame's leveling guide lately. As suggest on these forums I went to icecrown as soon as i dinged 77. Very useful ... but now i'm 78,5 % and finished the 'Battle at Valhalas'. Which seems to be the last quest in his guide.
I was under the impression that I could do all my quests here in icecrown till cap out , but the only other thing available is "sso dailies". No clue what sso stands for though and its 18k yards away, so figured this is not icecrown :P Next WoW says i can only do 18 more daily quests today. Which is not enough to ding 80 :(
Yeah I know i'm kinda lazy. The ease of use of such a guide is awesome. And honestly i don't want to start figuring out everything myself now. Just wanna continue questing without sleep to ding 80.
Anyone an idea / suggestion what i've missed? Or any other ice crown guide will do.
thanks

The SSO dailies are at the Sunwell (Isle of Quel something). I'm not using Tour Guide at the moment, but way back when I was leveling my Priest solo, I just cleared zones till I hit the quest achievement. You would always check WoWhead (http://www.dual-boxing.com/www.wowhead.com) for ideas, unless you get a better ones here. :)

I'm still getting lost in ogrimmar, i never remember names of items nor zones (i remember how they look, what they do and the stats etc ... though). So without some quest app that tells me what to do it will take a year or 12 before i hit 79 and another year or 14 before i hit 80. Figured I have to kill around 2k mobs to hit 80. Might as well just do that while queuing for AV :P

Do you use any mod for your maps?
Thats the way I personally navigate when Im looking at areas to hit and instances to play. I suck at remembering names etc. so I use the map to hit up different zones in my lvl range.
You can also visit wowhead.com - pick a zone and enable the "show questgivers" on the map there. Then you can fly around and lookup questsgivers in the zone.

Everyquest
QuestHelper
Lightheaded
Tourguide
Cartographer
TomTom
Atlas
Atlasloot
Questguru
Zygor
Are the once i've installed. Obviously not all on the same toon but spread out over alts. Depending on the zone / guide I try to find the most accurate info.
Just recalled carbonite and gonna give that a try in northrend.

Also, in Icecrown, if you get the quest from the guy on your faction airship you open a ton of Ebon Blade and Argent Crusade quests. Do the Argent Tournement quests too. I quit using Tour Guide because it seemed to leave me clueless even after I completed a zone.

It might be that you went there too soon. Just becuase you can go there does not mean you have too. Leveling wise, you might be better off trying to stay with the order that tour guide gives you.
Anyhow, I would try to work on Storm Peaks and or Sholazar Basin for extra quests and some gold once you hit 80.

Thanks for advice. I just disabled most plugins, went with the standard tools and hit 80 fairly fast. Think it took me 5 hours in total. Leveling with the standard map and waypoints you have to make yourself takes a bit to get used to, but all in all it gave/gives me a better overview of the questlines.
It's kinda like a GPS (that i refuse to use). People just follow the gps instructions and after 1 year on the road they have zero orientation. Whereas I still use a normal paper map and at least I have some orientation. Same applies to wow i'd say :)
