Do not buy this laptop for multiboxing it has serious downclocking issues of the video card which makes it absolutely worthless for multiboxing.
I bought this laptop as an upgrade and it was a sorry purchase, good thing I can still return it.

For win7:
Control Panel / Power Options / High Performance

Here is what to do;
Open up nvidia control panel, go to manage 3d settings, then under global settings look for "power management mode" select " Prefer maximum performance" instead of the adaptive which is default.
Once I did that, no more crashes in MW2 and other games as well. Before I can't even play more than 3 minutes in MW2 with out the game crashing and the gpu clocks stuck in low power 3D unless I reboot again, but it kept doing the same thing till this fix.
There is also away force this in rivatuner as well.

I've done all of this, deleted the wtf and other folders to get wow to default settings...
The result? 24fps in Dalaran with all settings MIN and 1024x768 res.
Believe me I've tried everything, the problem is with the GPU never pushing itself over 20% utilization.
Basically the GPU is a slacker, when giving all its got is 20% its capacity lol. But its only in WoW... all other games run superb!

Here is a thread dealing with this problem on the M15:

Seems that it happens on battery a lot but the above has a fix if you are plugged in. AW forums should be the best spot for support on this. It seems a common enough problem that someone has found a solution by now. Wow might be less taxing then the other games and it thinks it needs to downclock so you get worse performance on the simplist game and better on the complex graphic ones.
No doubt though your problem is downclocking the gpu to save battery power on the lap top.

Thanks for the help Sam but that info is for the older M15x, they re-released and redesigned it for 09.
However, I updated this other thread and encourage those to take a look if they're wondering why this thread was created:

I have since returned the laptop and upgraded my desktop.
