3 PoS and 3 FoS full Heroic clears...

...And all I got was three measly BoP trash epics. Each time I looted one and it wasn't a Battered Hilt I felt like kicking someone in the junk. I've vowed to get 4 more (found one on the AH) before I get anything else done--Hell or high water.

I did one quick clear of PoS this morning before work and my first hilt dropped. With the one I got off the AH, only 3 more to go. Bwuahah!

I farmed up 4x Garfrost's Two-Ton Hammers for my Rets in just over an hour. I can clear all the trash in PoS in about 10-15 minutes or so. Lot of it depends on those stupid drake riders--The Frost Strike they do is painful.

With a Blood/Frost DK tank and 4x glyphed Divine Storm I hardly need to heal at all.

Were you farming the trash in normal mode then? Or did you just do those normal runs to get some quick weapon upgrades from normal mode garfrost?

Reason I ask is that I thought the hilts only dropped from heroic mode trash

I farmed normal Garfrost for the 2h Hammer. It took about 8 runs all together.

Yes, the Hilt ONLY drops in Heroic mode of the ICC dungeons. I was just getting a nice upgrade to help with the Hilt farming speed--I expect to spend about 4-5 hours per Hilt at this rate.

does the trash in PoS respawn if you do not kill a boss?

Even if you kill a boss. I do one clear of PoS, then one of FoS, then back.

Odd I killed trash and Ick last night, then did FoS, when I came back no trash

I wouldn't waste time on them in any case--Hilt>All.

What I have been reading its kill all the trash, run out and reset dungeon. That way you can almost hit 5 resets an hour(depending on how fast you kill.) Don't kill bosses.

Hopefully when I get home there'll be a few Hilts on the AH I can snap up.

I spent over 20 hours farming and got two hilts. I probably got 25-30 of those purple daggers. Over 40 of the bracers.

I looted two and bought the last three. I'd rather farm up cash again than spend more time in PoS with the trash. my brain is fried.
