So yesterday I decided to try 5-boxing the 3 new heroics with my 5-man team. All of my guys are in full epics, with average ilevels ranging from 219 (boomkin) to 243 (pally tank).

Forge of Souls:

Some of the trash is brutal. They'll toss up spell reflects and a lot of my spells will crit my own guys for over half of their health. Only one wipe to trash and that was before I really learned what all the different trahs mobs did.

Bronjahm was looking like he'd take forever until I figured out you had to kill the soul fragment that he spawned, and had to stand really far away to give me time to burn it down before it hit him. At 30% collapse in to avoid getting hit by the sworly outer damage. He feared my priest out who then proceeded to die, but I healed myself in angel-form long enough for my guys to kill him off. 1-shot, though rather shaky.

Devourer of Souls was worse. He kept spawning purple puddles under my guys and they'd die from them. On later attempts I'd spread out more and try to be more aware of which guy was standing in the bad puddle and moving them faster. Still, all of the abilites would keep wearing me down. Finally, I got him to 80k with just my pally tank and soloed him down to dead with a bit of healing from my dead priest. 4 tries total I think, and not smooth when I killed him.

Pit of Saron:

Trash was initially not fatal here but takes a while to clear a path. Only the trash right outside of Ick and Krick's hideout was able to cause fatalities.

Forgemaster Garfrost was a nightmare to kill. Invariably one of my guys would get smacked my the boulders he throws and get out of LoS. Took me about 6 tries to kill him. On the time I actually killed him, when he ran to the forge I tried to LoS him to clear the frost stacks, but the first time I missed one of my DPSers (caught on something) and the second time I missed another one, so it was just my tank and my shaman trying to DPS the last 30% of him. This acually made the healing easier with less people alive, so I was able to avoid death on my guys yet again until I got him down far enough that yet again, my pally tank soloed the last 60k or so.

Ick and Krick is where I met my match. This fight is EXTREMELY movement-heavy, and having everyone on follow just made it worse when I tried that, because you basically always have a slime puddle under you. I attacked him about 4 times before giving up and he never got under 50%.

So for now I am stuck there. Anyone have any better luck with Ick and Krick? Or has nobody else even gotten that far?
