Emblem question

I understand Triumph is now the new Conquest badge, and Frost is now dropping in ICC...

What drops from bosses in 5 man heroics? Triumph? Which can be downgraded? I have 25 Conquest on each my team, what am I going after now? Does each boss drop a Triumph? Am I farming Moorabi for Triumph?

Sorry if it's been covered, but I havent actually played in over a week, and havent paid that close attention to the patch.

Also curious if after you do your heroics you can do them again for badges + 2 badges? or just the 2 badges at the end?

If you can somehow manage to do ALL heroics per day, thats 52 badges. That means in 4 days you get full t9.

The Random dungeon option ignores lockout timers - so you can do as many heroics in a day as you have time to run heroics now. Also the first 'random' dungeon you complete each day will also award you two emblems of frost and 26g just like the old dailies used to do.

Yeah but remember there is no daily heroic quest now (which used to reward 26G and 2 emblems).

The bonus is the 2x Emblem of Triumph and 13g for subsequent random dungeons - this is new for this patch.

what about random heroic? will random heroic give 2xtriumph and 13g every time after you do the frost one? If you are SAVED to one, will you still get badges from them for the random or will you only get the 2 @ the end?

There is no statement to as to weither there are drops from the bosses and it is additional loot, of it that is the only compensation you get after being saved to an instance using random. I read it. Being a smart ass doesn't really help.


But in addition to the 2 bages, when ALREADY SAVED to an instance... say you do UK out of "random" and you get it in "random" will the bosses drop the 4 badges again, or ONLY get 2 at the end + 13 gold?

If they are as easy as TOC was/is then sure (normal mode), if not... heroics would be faster since the minimum badges per 20-30 minuets = 5.

So there is no limit, you could run heroics for 24 hours straight doing all of them 2-3 times and earn and insane amount of badges for your team.

24 hours straight would produce

16 instances with 5-7 badges per. Average is 6 per.

Assuming you do 3 per hour... that is 72 total....@ 6 average that is 432 badges + 4680 gold + drops... assuming the drops are worth about 100 gold per instance thats another 7200 gold.

Total:

11880 gold + 432 badges. This is enough badges to get full t9 + full furious.

Onyxia has settled down and is once again killable and flying in the proper areas during phase 2.
Icetouched Earthragers casting Avalanche now deals appropriate damage.
The quest “Keeping the Enemy at Bay” is now completable.
Totems are no longer targeted by chain effects as intended.
The Death Knight chest piece, Scourgelord Chestguard, has been updated to reflect appropriate tanking statistics.
Emblem of Triumph quartermasters now exchanges one Emblem of Conquest for one Emblem of Triumph.
The NPC Usuri Brightcoin in Dalaran now exchanges one Emblem of Triumph for one Emblem of Frost.
Bosses no longer respawn in the new Frozen Halls 5 player dungeon after being defeated.
Scourgelord Tyrannus now heals to full when the encounter begins.
The chance for epic items to drop off trash mobs in the Icecrown Citadel raid dungeons has been reduced.

It is currently glitched. Or possibly working as intended... No one really knows.

There is a GOOD chance if you do any instances OUTSIDE of random LFG then the bosses might not be there. If using purely random LFG then you will never run into this problem.
