I'm trying to get a unitframe that looks as close to Pitbull4 as I can that I can arrange so it only ever shows my 5 guys--Pitbull4 as far as I can tell has no option in a raid to only show certain people. I know Vuhdo and Grid have these options but I was unable to configure them to look like a "normal" party in the sense they just had the most basic of information on them.

Anyone care to help out? :)

you can add some information to grid with some easy addons (like mana bars) not like you need anything else? What you can also do is just enable party frames but disable pitbulls raid frame. Grid doesnt take up much space.

I want health, mana, cast bars and 3d portraits if possible.

Health, mana, and cast bars are a must for me. 3d portraits are just a waste of computer resources when boxing in my opinion.

With Grid and GridCustomLayout you can get health, mana, and cast and make the bars regular size, right? Having problems finding pictures of different Grid setups.

Edit: And I'm at work and anxious to get home, fix my UI, and start farming Quel'Derar!

I would say for Clique, Grid is the easiest but OpenRDX is the most powerful.

With Grid, you are limited in the size you can go with.
My grid frames can get up to about an inch square.

I use GridCustomLayouts, which allows for various sorting options, such as alphabetical.
Layouts >> Custom Layouts >> New; enter: order=NAME;

If you wanted your toons only, never anyone else, go with this syntax:
nameList="ToonA,ToonB,ToonC,ToonD,ToonE"

I've not bothered with Grid Mana Bars, but was told it would add mana and cast bars.
I use PitBull3 frames, so already have mana/cast bars.

Does OpenRDX allow me to only ever show my 5 specific guys in the same way that Grid does?

same here. You can look my blog for screens. The actionbars part has grown for now but the grid layout is same.

Looking at the screenshots you have there, it seems that your aspect ratio (resolution settings) is a bit off, since the minimap, buffs, and action bars are rectangular instead of the squares they normally are, everything else gives the same feeling.
You should make sure you aren't using a widescreen resolution on a non-wide window shape.

I'm thinking I might keep pitbull and then just use Grid for healing. Hmmmmmm. I did have a blank hole in my UI once I got it put together... I guess that'll work.

I guess what would be best would be a Pitbull4 plugin that would allow me to display people in raid/group by name only--Oh well. If wishes were fishes...

I've never used OpenRDX.
Zanthor had replied to a thread, recommending it as an option to persistently display only your team.
He mentioned a little bit about it, in the thread - saying it was the most powerful/flexible option.
Honestly, there were so many options... I opted for something easier to configure.

Vuhdo works good, I like it lots of options and it was easy to copy it over and stuff. I use a region for buffing and just stuck it all to the side so I can just click it to buff.

its because i use 1 monitor only for now. so it compresses it a little. I dont mind it, but if i solo it is still nice and clean. The screens are taken when i multibox, so it keeps the shape of my screen in that time. :o
(I have my alt screens on my left side)
