Hi all,

Could someone direct me to where there's a discussion of how your dedicated healer can stay targeted on your tank instead of switching his target to the mob when using ISboxer?

I'm trying to do instance runs now with my pally/shammy team and my healing shaman's heals don't land on my tank.

Thoughts?

With IS Boxer, by far the easiest method for heals will be using Repeater Regions in conjunction with something like Grid+Clique, Healbot or Vuhdo.

Set what each of your clicks do.
For a resto shaman, I'd want:
- Earth Shield
- Lesser Healing Wave
- Healing Wave
- Riptide
- Chain Heal
- Cleanse Talent

You can use the normal Right and Left mouse clicks, along with the Middle button or Side buttons.
You can combine these with modifiers: Alt + Right click, Ctrl + Right click.

Once you learn your click system (which will take a few days), you'll be able to heal any combination of toons. You could take an all healer team into AV or Wintergrasp, and raid heal toons you've never encountered before, without needing any macros to do so.

I would probably break the clicks down to effect types.
Maybe Fast Heal, Big Heal, HoT etc.
So the same button will work the same way, no matter which toon you are on.

You just observe the Grid/Vuhdo/Healbot frame either filling up (damage taken) or depleting (health going down), and click on the frame.
Very easy and extremely effective.
You can enable KVM mode, so the click doesn't affect the current screen (tank doesn't target healer).
Also, you can set it up, so you can heal anyone on your team, from any screen.

I have a write up on how to do this in my guide (see my signature).

On the site: www.isboxer.com, in the forums there are videos too.
- Tovya has a Repeater Region specific video.
- Zanthor has a series for getting the most out of IS Boxer.
