View Full Version : [ISBoxer] Toolkit Error - Stuck.

Quite a few people ask how to accomplish something in IS Boxer.

Generally, I'll open my toolkit and click along, so I can mention the exact name of what to click on, or select.

When doing actions on a keymap step, the toolkit can get stuck.
I right click on Actions and select a new wow macro action.

Since this is just a demonstration, so I can tell someone what to click and type etc.
I'm not actually going to assign a key combination for a macro.

However, if I go to Actions and right click for another action type, the toolkit freezes on me.
I get an error message which reads, "You must select a keystroke for the World of Warcraft macro to be attached to in the game!"
There is an option to click OK as well as the red X to close the dialogue box.
However, clicking on either of these closes the window momentarily and then it reopens with the same message less then a second later.
Once I have this dialogue box, I cannot click anything else in the toolkit, even the X to close the whole program is unresponsive.
My only option to get rid of this is to "end process" in the task manager.

Option box might be hidden behind the focus windows. Can you alt-tab?

You just need to have a keybind ready, even if it is a duplicate, so you can keep on going with your tasks. you can't even delete a macro action unless you insert a keybind first.

I have been exactly where you are before and had to terminate the app. I am sure the next generation toolkit will remove these annoying caveats.

Before adding a second action to your keymap you must first assign the first action a key combination before you are allowed to do anything else. You ARE able to delete the 'test' keymap before deleting the actions but that can screw with your ISBoxer. I suggest deleting all actions [w/o key combinations bound to them] under the test keymap before deleting the keymap itself. Not sure why it looks as if it's completely freezing on you though.
