View Full Version : [Keyclone] Keyclone and passing mouse clicks once
Trick

Shadowfury, Rain of Fire, Blizzard, etc... I'm curious to know if others are using these with Keyclone's "pass-mouse-click" and "one-click then off" settings.
I've tried it, but it appears to me that you can't use the Hotkey for passing mouse clicks and also have it echo to all windows. Like binding Blizzard to cast and pass mouse on a single key.

Experimenting with this, and reading Zanthor's endorsements/guides for IS Boxer, helped to convince me to switch software.
Keyclone is an amazing software. It is very easy to understand, even as a complete boxing newbie. Every key pushed is broadcast to every client. And then blacklist a few keys to not pass, and learn to use pause when typing. I'm grateful to Rob, for designing such an easy to use software which greatly helped me learn to box.
Unfortunately, PiP swap speed and mouse broadcasting are not strengths of Keyclone. Those features are what eventually convinced me to switch to IS Boxer. You can mouse broadcast with Keyclone, but its not instant fast. It will work in PvE most of the time, but just moving your mouse to each window is easier and faster with Keyclone. I wouldn't want to use it for PvP or to set talent points (both of which are very possible with IS Boxer).
I'll recommend getting the 7-day trial of IS Boxer. It is free to try. Keymaps are actually the feature I would pick as the strongest thing of IS Boxer. Of course they were the most confusing for me as well, having come from Keyclone. If you do decide to try it, turning and leaving repeater on, has IS Boxer function like keyclone. However, you'll want repeater off most of the time, and to set keymaps (hotkeys which do things for you in a variety of window combinations) and go with them. Instant PiP swaps and accurate/fast mouse broadcasting are of course very nice features too.
