Here is a new one...
/targetraid and /targetparty will NOT target members that are our of direct line of site (LOS) of the caster. This includes being out of the "frontal 180 degree cone" of viewing....
So if you're going to use this to macros, keep this in mind.
That's...peculiar...out of LOS I could see being interesting, but that frontal cone stuff? C'mon, I can heal behind me, why wouldn't I want to be able to target?

Was not aware of that limitation.
It is a strong function, I use to give Water Breathing to my entire team, from one characters window without bothering to manually target them.
I guess I'm just lucky to have never had toons behind me... when casting this.

And its selecting all the characters in your party, one at a time? You' actually seeing EACH character get targted?

Going to go test /targetraid, but /targetparty does indeed target each of my other toons one at a time regardless of LoS. Yes, that is with a visual confirmation on both windows and on both unit frames.
Just tested both, and works fine for me either way, no LoS issues, even through a wall.
The spell, on the other hand, will not cast if toons are out of LoS behind a wall.
Are you sure your toons were in a party Fur?
What exactly was your macro? Not from memory either!

Tested fully
/targetraid
/cast cleanse (the resto shaman one)
I would watch it target 1, 2, then all 4 of my part members, as I rotated the shaman around. The results would change as I rotated the toon around.

So you cant target people behind you with it?
I guess that would make sense since it works like tab targeting..

Well... from reading wow wiki.
/Targetparty and /Targetraid will cycle outwards, from the closest toon to you, until reaching the furthest toon from you. At that point it cycles back to the nearest.
/Targetparty 1 and /Targetraid 1 will cycle the same, but in the reverse order.
I'm not sure if the order is determined at the time you click the first time, or if its based on distance at the time of the actual click. Not sure if having relative ranges changed results in continual cycle of the same order, or if the order is now different and a new cycle has started.
Too much I don't know about it.
I know, with my stationary group wanting to do a quest underwater, I can cycle the water breathing across the party easily.
