Hey. My main rig that I have now will run 1-2 near max settings (no shadows) which is fine, though ideally running 1 would be best and running 4 on this second computer I want help on from you.

Okay, the point is, i want to MIN/MAX :D on shopping for this second PC. Meaning, best bang for buck, nothing else totally unnecessary.

Question: Does anyone have any experience with using 1 computer to 3 box (maaaybe 4 if it can handle it with no slowdowns).
For the accounts I dont give jack shit about settings- they can be set to ALL MINIMUM bla bla bla. I want is SMOOTH performance EVERYWHERE ie, instance, cities, lichking areas, dalaran, perhaps even cata, but who knows about this yet hehe. (Except 25 mans - i wont be raiding all at once hehe).

I need to run 3 accounts smoothly as said above on the cheapest computer money can buy, don't really care about 4. ((If its 4, I can then max everything on 1 account on my main, and 4 on the second, but seeing as how my main rig can do 2 maxxed no problem its not REALLY necessary).

Thanks a bunch. I searched and all, but nothing answers this. gluck gooday,

You can get a system, which won't lose follow in cities, even Dalaran.
It will be playable everywhere, but not necessarily smooth.
Cutting the graphic settings is a good idea for this, in particular view distance, shadows and weather effects.

A quad core system, Q6600 overclocked to 3.0 ghz
With 4-6gb of ram.
A graphics card which was new in the last 2-3 years.
That will run 3 accounts, playable.

For three accounts, smooth everywhere.
I'd assume you're looking at an i5 or i7 system.
6 GB of ram will be plenty, for 3 accounts.
A low-end SSD, purely for the gaming folder.
A 64-bit OS, probably Win7 Home Premium.
