Alright so I'm new to all of this dual boxing shit and am in need of some help with software and macros and just how to overall get this going. Okay to start off, I'm rolling a Arms Warrior and Holy priest combo.Basically, I need to know what macros I should use and what multiplexer that is free I should use. And I also need help with running these macros. Sorry I've never used this kind of software before and am new to this stuff.

People might be more inclined to help you out if you don't start your posts like this:

Sounds like it is just a chore to you while most of us actually do it because we enjoy it.

HotKeyNet is a free key broadcaster with networking capabilities. You will need to find a basic script to get up and running. For anything outside the box you will have to do some of that scripting shit. If you want your hand held then you will need to buy one of the commercial packages.

There is a lot of information for sure. Short of someone coming over to your house and setting it up there is no easy path. If you are good at Macro's or have a basic understanding that will help you.

The software section which you will find on the wiki page Fur linked will give you an idea of what is available for key passing. If you want free there are a few ways to go but they have a slight learning curve.

I didn't mean it in a derogatory way.

I guess my main point in this thread is what are the things that I really need to make leveling easier?

Leveling will never be easy not for me at least its a grind even when solo.

I would start with a simple Focus Assist or Target macro for targeting until you have a better understanding of macro's etc.

If you want a free software repeater than try Hotkeynet and do a search on the forum for a basic HotKey Script.

Hot Key Net is probably the strongest of the free options.
You could also search for Auto Hot Key or Octopus.

HKN and AHK both use scripts.
Find one that does what you want, and go with it.

If you're willing to pay to box, I'll strongly recommend IS Boxer.
It is $10 for 3 months, $36 for a year, which isn't much considering the costs of 2 accounts per month.
IS Boxer is much easier to configure to do exactly as you want it to do.
There is strong support for it, especially on the IRC channel.

There is a 7-day free trial version, which doesn't hurt to check if its something you'd like to run.
Really, if 36 per year is too much of an investment, one month of subscriptions for two accounts is too much too.

My guide (linked in signature) is an overview to a lot of the options within IS Boxer.
To start, I'd just do the initial section which overviews the wizard.

That will get you, any key on 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0, - or =.
Will broadcast to the other client, and they will both cast at the target of the active window.
With Jamba options, you can have the second toon auto follow the first, or on a hotkey you choose.
The wizard will get you up and running in a minute or so.

When you want to do more, or configure IS Boxer for your own needs, use the guide or videos as a reference point.
But also feel free to ask questions, here or on the IRC.
