Faction Change

I just took the plunge and did a Faction change on 5 of my toons.

Before the change I was running all the Icecrown Dailies, had every phase unlocked for all toons.
After the faction change I was surprised to see that it was all reset but I still had my rep from before. I knew I would have to do some of the quest but there are more than a few that are exactly the same on either side.

On the plus side... rep stacking on the down side.. crap I have to run them all again....

Is this typical?

Yep. Tournament info doesn't transfer over unfortunately.

The Tourney I knew would not transfer but it appears as though just about everything reset.

This is typical. I lost all the ebon blade dailies. But it's about 400g per toon opening them back up, so I wasn't too concerned about it.

It doesn't take that many hours, think i used about 2 hours to unlock all. And besides, it's still alot of gold, so it's not that bad :)

I did not do a faction change but a realm and account change was done in 20 minutes pay to play!

I just couldn't justify the $30 per character cost and the feeling that I was butchering my team if I did the transfer. So I made a horde team from scratch who'll run the low level instances as they go for a change of pace from 80 heroics that are getting stale.

It seems as though every quest reset or a large portion of them. Wyrmrest needs to be done again, even the phased event is reset. I guess the good thing is I have all this quest gold but damn I am not looking forward to doing them all again....
