Hiya!
Brand spanking new multi-boxer here, my first team in their 40s now :)
I've been planning to start multi-boxing for a while and intend on using a FTL setup. I've allready made quite a few hotstrings/keymaps and macros (examplified below), but I can't for the life of me find out how to enter it into Keyclone. I've been searching a bit on the net and can't find anything to help me along.

So, I've got plenty of stuff like this:

Ctrl + Shift + Key = Laylìí is leader
Ctrl + Alt + Key = Laylìi is leader
Alt + Shift + Key = Laylíi is leader
Ctrl + Alt + Shift + key = Layliì is leader
Ctrl + key = Laylií is leader
Key-Map for Laylìí:
‘q’ ---> ‘chainlightning.on.Laylìí.target’
‘Ctrl + Alt + *’ ---> ‘chainlightning.on.Laylìi.target’
‘Alt + Shift + *’---> ‘chainlightning.on.Laylíi.target’
‘Ctrl + Alt + Shift + *’ ---> ‘chainlightning.on.Layliì.target’
‘Ctrl + *’ ---> ‘chainlightning.on.Laylií.target’
Key-Map for Laylìi:
‘Ctrl + Shift + *’ ---> ‘chainlightning.on.Laylìí.target’
‘q’ ---> ‘chainlightning.on.Laylìi.target’
‘Alt + Shift + *’---> ‘chainlightning.on.Laylíi.target’
‘Ctrl + Alt + Shift + *’ ---> ‘chainlightning.on.Layliì.target’
‘Ctrl + *’ ---> ‘chainlightning.on.Laylií.target’
Key-Map for Laylíi:
‘Ctrl + Shift + *’ ---> ‘chainlightning.on.Laylìí.target’
‘Ctrl + Alt + *’ ---> ‘chainlightning.on.Laylìi.target’
‘q’---> ‘chainlightning.on.Laylíi.target’
‘Ctrl + Alt + Shift + *’ ---> ‘chainlightning.on.Layliì.target’
‘Ctrl + *’ ---> ‘chainlightning.on.Laylií.target’
Key-Map for Layliì:
‘Ctrl + Shift + *’ ---> ‘chainlightning.on.Laylìí.target’
‘Ctrl + Alt + *’ ---> ‘chainlightning.on.Laylìi.target’
‘Alt + Shift + *’---> ‘chainlightning.on.Laylíi.target’
‘q’ ---> ‘chainlightning.on.Layliì.target’
‘Ctrl + *’ ---> ‘chainlightning.on.Laylií.target’
Key-Map for Laylií:
‘Ctrl + Shift + *’ ---> ‘chainlightning.on.Laylìí.target’
‘Ctrl + Alt + *’ ---> ‘chainlightning.on.Laylìi.target’
‘Alt + Shift + *’---> ‘chainlightning.on.Laylíi.target’
‘Ctrl + Alt + Shift + *’ ---> ‘chainlightning.on.Layliì.target’
‘q’ ---> ‘chainlightning.on.Laylií.target’
and this:

/click ActionButton12
/cast [harm] Chain Lightning;
/cast Lesser Healing Wave
/targetlasttargetBut how do I enter that stuff into Keyclone in a correct manner? As you understand I'm pretty confused, but I've got macros down and believe I understand how keymaps and hotstrings work. I just need to enter them into the software somehow :confused:
I'm not a programmer so treat me like I'm 5 m'kay? ;)

Any help will be greatly appriciated!

Thanks

edit: Blah, can't fix typo in title :(

No one?
If I'm unclear please say so, I still need help to make FTL work. I'm currently using normal assist setup which is fine, but I'd like to start using FTL sooner rather than later.

Thanks

I never used Hotstrings in keyclone but wanted to.

This thread is a little dated but I believe the process has not changed. About half way down the page there is a pretty good post.

Ok here is how it works.

You must create 2 keymaps. One for the controler, and one for the slaves.
The Hotstring is what keyclone looks at when the controller broadcasts it, then uses the they linked to the hotstring
example.

Ctrl.
numpad 1 --> fireball
numpad 2 --> frostbolt
so on and so on.

Slave
Key to cast fireball --> fireball
Key to cast frostbolt --> frostbolt

The master broadcasts the word fireball when he hits numpad 1 the slave picks up fireball and hits the key you entered to cast fireball.

rinse repeat with everything else you need to do.

I have keymaps for specific characters. I pretty much always use my numpad to control any slaves Im running with.
Between 1-0 / * - + . and Ctrl or alt or Ctrl+alt you get a lot of keys to bind things to. Then I just leave my slaves setup like I would play them and build keymaps acordingly.

Thanks for answers. I reread what felt like a million posts and I've got it now :)
