I've setup a preist/warlock team using the ISBoxer quick setup for FTL + Jamba

so far I can't stand the follow strobe and it's impossible to disable.
shift-alt-f is at best a temporary thing, if you switch to any other screen and it's back.
1. I can't eat or drink, all alts stand up when the strobe happens.
2. I can't make any formations
3. if someone dies in a bg and I select the dead targets screen (so I can release) then all of my guys face the dead guy turning their backs to whatever is attacking or even better if a DK pulled the dead target in, switching to the dead target screen will have the team run to their death.

How do you eat or drink when strobing is on?
How do you release the dead without getting killed?

my next issue is the logon.
I have virtual config.wtf as config.toonname.wtf for each character.
it seems to put the account info on only two of them and the other two don't get it setup and never remember their logon names. the number 6 key gets passed to all account whether or not key broadcasting is turned on or off screwing up the last two account info. any ideas why the last two account info isn't setup?
Some of my Fx keys aren't being broadcast and I can't figure out why ( F6 comes to mind )

I used to have interact with target mapped to the ` key ( left of the 1 ) but this seems to be a special character in IS and won't pass it. it passes alt-` and cntrl-` but IS captures plain ` ... So what's a safe key for interact with target that IS won't treat as one of it's own?

I used to do an "/assist focus" + interact-with-target to get my alts to loot but since I don't have a focus this doesn't work anymore. how do you get your alts to loot without switching screens?

Ualaa's post covers a lot of this http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=26231.

Here are a few things to help. Setup can be daunting.

1) keys 1-= are always broadcast
2) when you do the setup, don't enable the extra Jamba settings. If you don't tell it to turn on follow strobe when you switch screens it's a ton easier to use.
3) I recommend splitting keyboard and mouse broadcasting. Go under Key Maps, Control then in the bottom left pane Mapped Keys. Find your Repeater (set to Shift+Alt+R by default) and copy/paste it in the same place. Rename the copy something to let you know it's your mouse repeater and choose a different hot key for it. Then under Steps 1 & 2 of the keyboard repeater uncheck Mouse Repeat. Do the same for Key Repeat under your Mouse Repeater that you just created.

When I need to release my spirit I just turn on Mouse Repeater and click it in my main window.

For looting, I use my old method still. I have Shift+Z bound to /assist party1 and Z to interact with target. What you can do with ISBoxer is either setup a key in the ISBoxer Toolkit to assist your active window (like keys 1-= do by default) or just one of those native assist keys to assist your active window, then hit your interact with target key.

Also, when logging in, be sure to disable your Key Maps (Shift+Alt+M by default).

Hope this help.

To eat or drink while strobing is on, there's an option in Jamba-Follow in the in-game addons configuration, which will stop it from re-following during this time.

If you've logged into all of them at least once, it should be saving the account info just fine. That is, unless you manually created new Characters in ISBoxer, in which case you probably need to set up the virtual config.wtf for them. There's a virtual file wizard you can use if that's the case. And as far as numbers while logging in, remember that 1 through = are set up for the auto-assist; this needs to be disabled (shift+alt+m by default as Coltimar pointed out) if you want to use them to type.

Well, typically you should wait until you're not in the middle of combat to handle the cleanup ;) For me, usually if one guy died it means there's about 30 allies (I'm horde) rolling over the other 4, so this isn't an issue. Either way, you can temporarily enable Repeater (Shift+Alt+R) to click on the box without switching. The mouse cursor will be displayed on the window so you can see where you'd be clicking if there isn't a box on your current screen.

You can disable the jamba strobing upon switching by going to each Slot in your Character Set, and change the "do this mapped key" from Follow/JambaStrobe/JambaMaster to JambaMaster (or if you want them to follow but not strobe, Follow/JambaMaster). Then you would manually enable strobing with Shift+Alt+F only when you want it.

I've set IS Boxer to update the Jamba master and do a normal follow on the PiP switch.

If I want to switch, but not have the follow.
I turn off keymaps, switch and then turn them back on.

You could go with no follow option on a switch by default.
And then press your follow key to activate it.

I almost never use the follow key.
The auto follow is good on a switch.
Or my arrow keys have been configured for slave movement only, which breaks follow.
When I want follow, I have Jamba Strobe on a hotkey; it is a two step key, first press enables and second press disables it.
I will double press the key, to turn follow on, if I'm on the ground or might be fighting.
I will single press the key, to strobe follow, if I'm mounted or flying.

Everyone will come up with their own methods.
That is what works for me.
