Hey guys

I noticed a few things now with my 10+ hours of Shammy boxing experience.

I need to rethink how I control my characters and how I play the game.

Story so far:
I have used my mouse for running, controlling the camera and for turning the character.
I user a G11 keyboard with the 18 special function keys and the three modes above (total of 54 keys - but I only use about 18) for macros and for key binding. Basically I can do most things from those keys.
I sometimes need to use arrow keys or strafe keys with the mouse and then I take my left hand to strafe while still running and controlling the camera from the right hand.

Problem:
Sometimes running past mobs or after a spawn, one of my following clone toons becomes the target. Since he is behind the main and following him, I do not have an easy way of turning around to kill the add-on. I also see some situations where only the main casts a lightning bolt because I can control his direction with the mouse, but the other clones are facing the wrong direction.

Questions:
1. How do you all control movement and play the game?
Do you play with mouse and 1 hand on keyboard or 2 hands on keyboard?

2. I keep reading about unbinding the movement keys on the clones. Why do you do this?

turret, not turrent

Sorry to pick. But in a world of gaming I see it all the time and it drives me nuts.

If you use Keyclone you can also Add WSAD to the do-not-pass list

so only 1 WoW will notice if you use those keys.

I personally use the do-nott-pass option. And i mostly use 1 hand on the mouse and 1 hand on the keyboard. Cause i like to walk with my mouse. gives me a better overview. but i think im one of the few that use a mouse in Dual boxing.

I would also suggest new players to use 2 hands on the Keyboard, so all the Keybinds are near. and spamable :P
But at the start 1-20 you wont need that many buttons if you dont use that many classes

I prefer unbinding the WASD or ESDF on the alt boxes versus the do not pass list. This allows me to create multiple macros on the alts and logging all characters on at the same time among other things.

i use W on main toon and have W bound to a macro on the toers:

/stopspellcast
/follow toon1

and Q and E are disabled on all but main.
