The big Grim-Batol [EU] thread

So, after this thread (http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=26328) came alive, lots of boxers have migrated or even started new teams on the realm: Grim batol - EU Horde.
Instead of having small talk in that thread, I thought I'd make a new one - Where we can talk about events, raiding on the server as boxers, or general small talk between us boxers on the realm. (I hope this is OK with mod's)

I would also like to make a list here who our mains are on Grim-Batol, from forum-user nick. (I'm already really confused, since many got different forum-nick then they'r mains.) I guess this is np for those of you that are in the Gimp Guild tho, but for us who raid or something else, it could be nice :)

If you're seriously going to consolidate on Grim Batel, EU and form a guild, you should have a guild forum created, like I have with KJ - Legion of Boom.

That's a good point, would be a lot easier to make raids, event in general happen - Even tho most of us boxers are in Gimp (Not myself, since I raid with my main) It will still be easier :)

How many boxers are active and actually do high end content(raids and/or pvp) together?

Are you planning on doing boxer only raids?

I'm really thinking about a server transfer but I gotta be sure if its worth the effort..

Atm we have a mix of boxers. Those who either do PvP or Pve, and those who do both. We have boxers with mixed class's and all of the same class, like all warlocks and, most common, all shamans.

We are 6 active 80's, and 7 more teams leveling, some near 60, others 30, etc.
Next month we'll have 2 other boxers, 1 aiming for PvE and the other for PvP.

Our plans are targeted at next expansion for boxer only raids, with some ppl aiming for 10mans alone or 2x5, and others, like me, aiming for rated battlegrounds.

I spent 200euros on this move, so i could join old partners from the oposing faction.
Was it worth it? Every cent.
Everyday we grow bigger and stronger, we help eachother and we are known amongst our server for who we are and what we do, most respect our guild.

Gimp stands as a place for every european boxer to meet and play togheter, and believe me, we're playing a different game now, when we form a raid, death and destruction it's all we do :D

With time i'll post more info about the guild and every boxer in it.

May have to come join you all, but I doubt I will join GIMP.
I honestly couldn't run around with that next to my name so i'll probably make my own guild or somthing.

I'm not starting my RAF untill we get a few months off cataclysm so i'll transfer my lock and pally over and get guild and money ready for boosting.

as talked about above a forum would be good, its still early days as we are waiting for the rest to form up. above list of boxers there are alot more of us now. almost feels like an army....

The other night I created a 4 pally team.

Within seconds of logging in I had someone standing in front of me asking if I was going to join GIMP.
So it looks like the mutliboxing guild is well known. There was no animosity towards it either.

I have since ditched that team - preferring to have something higher level on that server, and I'm already seriously considering transferring over my main team.

Since I don't play everyday I spend all my time on one team and one team alone - which is why I will transfer my main team, including doing a faction change.... I hope it will be worth it in the form of more fun in wow :)

I have another friend in the same situation, hes also a user in this forum. So u both will transfer in January.

I just can't wait to blast people with 5xboomkins in PvP.... But im currently both saving the $$$ since it's christmas, and I would need to do faction change and then a sercer change which dosen't come cheap.

It's also nice to be able to level without being gangked.

I'm not sure what you mean with that, but Grim Batol is a PVP server.

He meant that, while not transfering right now, he's enjoying the non PvP server where he is atm to level up faster :)

As far as I understood, running a lower lvl multiboxing team sorta puts a mark on my back which states "Wipe my team with your über pvp gankadin".

What I think is that its easier for me to lvl on a pve server and then transfer to a pvp server when I have hit the lvl cap.... Then ill atleast be able to do some killing aswell.

But as you can hear, I have no expirence with pvp servers so this is based on statements I have read in this forum.

You are right certain zones on Grim Batol are frustrating as hell to level in as horde. Im half tempted to level in instances except I cant as I get the dreaded too many instances error message >_< so its pvp or unpopular zones (here I come Silithus!)

I really really hate levelling on PvP servers without boosting

I leveled my 3 teams mostly doing quest, and i did get ganked ofc, but not to the point where its not doable:p ...and with all the boxers in the guild now, we should help eachother. To "gank a ganker" is fun for a 80 boxer anyway =)

welcome to the guild :), as for the levelling issue, you will pretty much find that there is always someone online that will boost your guys through instances if not busy.
