Ok, so Ive seen all the Moo's videos and all of that, and id love to start a 5 man druid team with this new 5 dollar wow, (will level to 60 in a day or 2), then xfer to my main accounts.
I know that druids have there eclipse procs, and I know how mulitboxers deal with them, but how hard is it?
I feel that I might be dissipionted with the team after I hit 80 and do heroics, that It will be to hard to manage.
Whats ur guys thoughts on this?, or a dif team other than the 1pally+4 shammies

I've got my 5x druids to 74 yesterday. They were RAF'd to 60 and then to 74 by questing and running AV. My main team is a pally, priest, 3xmage - and bear tanking is quite different. It's not quite so "push-button-tank-happens" - but i'm getting the hang of it. I'm just in the middle of setting up my eclipse procs with ISBoxer. There a good video by nolife on how to setup proc notification here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fvt-cmKWWbY&hd=1. Setting up the keymaps isn't too hard either.

I don't think i'll be running heroics right away though, as I plan on swapping in a shaman and druid to my main team for a fully mixed comp.

I just have my Moonkins' main DPS castsequence alternate between wrath and starfire (after moonfire) unconditionally, if that's what you're asking. I'm not sure the advantage of only using druids, though. The tank and healer are still going to function completely differently from the moonkins; you'll still be controlling three different character types. You might as well mix if it you're going to do heroics. Unless you think 5 druids would be simply more fun, then go for it!

yeah i like the idea of all the same class, but it seems like it would be difficult to keep up with the procs u know?
i wonder how bad the dps is without doing the procs

Eclipse procs on Wrath or Starfire casts, giving the other spell a bonus.

The easy method is to cast each in a string.
3-5x Wrath, then 3-5x Starfire.
Ideally you get your proc, cast one or two more Wraths and then have a bunch of Starfires with the bonus.

In PvP, if they don't know where you are, I'd go Starfire entirely, since it doesn't travel from you to them, like Wrath does.

With Keymaps and MSBT, you can set up precise Eclipse control.
This might not be practical for a lot of fights, but is certainly possible for straight dps check fights.

I'm going 5x Balance, 3x generic spec, 1x FF included, 1x MotW included.
My MotW toon also dual specs to Resto.
And the FF toon dual specs to Bear.

I've played a bear as main-tank/off-tank in Kara/Tier 5 raids.
It's a lot different then the one button spam Paladin.
I've got my abilities broken down like this:

#show Mangle
/castsequence reset=7 Mangle, Maul, Maul, Maul

#show Faerie Fire
/castsequence Faerie Fire,Null
/cast Lacerate

And Swipe.

With my dps click sequences for the Boomkins on all three keys.

Have not tried a heroic on this team yet, but my bear on the mixed team is much better with the moves split onto three keys.
One key spam did not work for me.

I ran 5 druids (bear+3moonkin+tree) through heroics for a bit. Got some badges and my first piece of badge loot on 'em. Then switched to my pally+4shams group. Seriously, the pally+shams group feels like I'm already in epics compared to the druids. AoE group HoTs 24/7 + antifear + all the resists + grounding totems >>>>> MotW + shapeshifting. After doing it for a while, I pretty much gave up on the druids. Shams just have so many gimmicks (aka utility) to nerf certain boss mechanics that it's crazy.

Short version: druids are very capable but you'll have to work much harder than tank+shammies groups. ;)

Yup! 5 druids is ok, you can clear every heroic no problem, but i really really miss having a shaman in my group! Especially in fights like Paletress where you get fear bombs, a tremor totem would help a lot! And ofc then there's bloodlust... Even though i love my cow team, i'd still advice you to go with a mixed group.

I do not have a druid team to 80 yet, but i do have a mixed group and the classic Paly+shams. My guild mate has 5 palies and a few ways to do a mix group as well as the paly+shams. We both feel that mixed groups are viable.. so are 5 druids or 5 pals. BUT like others have said, paly and 4 shams are by far the easiest, and for me, the most fun over all.

I have fun playing almost every other class MORE than shams "solo", but stacked they are the best. I solo my mage..hunter..druid in pug raids all the time. It gives me a 'fix" of wanting to try something different. Then I end up back on my main team. Paly+4 shams FOREVA!

My boomkins have not done heroics, or even an instance yet.
They're all one-spec, Boomkin!

So far, with all the toys they get, they've been the most fun team.
As far as questing and slaying of world mobs goes.

Not exactly sure how well this translates into instance power.
Having had a 1x Paladin and 4x Shaman group...
I had a real shock going with a Bear tank in a mixed group with macros.
A click sequence could not hold threat -- and I've one boxed a bear tank through a lot of BC raid content.
Was kind of a shock. But having split the attacks into three keys has helped the mixed team.

My 5x Boomkin will be a PvP focused team.
More interested in BG's then Arena (lacking in burst, will see what Catacylsm brings).
But the same 210 badges which buy Tier 9, also buy the PvP equivalent.
Which will be one step behind current 25-man raid/arena season gear.
Or a lot better then you can get with honor alone.

So they'll likely venture into heroics, to see what they can manage.
Have the spec and glyphs for 1x Feral and 1x Tree dual-specs ready.

5 Druids can be alot of fun. I can clear all heroics but like was mentioned the shamans are easier. My druids dual spec so when im running dailies or PVP i have an easier time. My first spec is the tank/healer/3 DPS and my secondary spec is 5 feral kitties.

I used to have alot of fun using them as 5 boomkins but i mostly felt like underpowered shaman or locks depending how i played them. DoTing up people and running was pretty effective since its harder to "stand your ground" with the druids.

As for bear tanking when im running through trash i mostly use this:

#showtooltip
/cast Swipe (Bear)(Rank 8)
/cast Maul
/startattack

It works just fine for me for most trash since i get a few swipes off while the boomkins apply insect swarm and moonfire dots.

for bosses i use something like this:

#showtooltip
/castsequence reset=combat Mangle (Bear)(Rank 5), Lacerate, Lacerate, Lacerate
/cast Maul
/startattack

You can switch lacerate for swipe if the boss has adds. I manually use FFF (feral faerie fire) for pulling at the start of the fight. Using those macros its pretty simple to manage the tank and dps, my healer has seperate macros/keybinds to heal each party member or the tank but i find i use wild growth alot. Yes it costs more mana but my healer never goes under 80% mana except on rare fights that take too long like paletress with all the party dmg taken.

As for eclipse procs i just use a cast sequence with 3 wraths and then 3 starfires. Its not the most optimal dps but i couldnt be bothered with manually using seperate dps keys since you never get all 3 boomkins with same proc up at the same time or atleast not very often.

If you dont like it you can always go with tank/healer/3 kitties. I find this alot of fun lately when im not leveling my new ret pallies up and its a great change of pace with its own unique challenges.
