View Full Version : 40 multiboxing in Dalaran on Aegwynn
Prepared

This video was taken yesterday while logged in with 33 shamans and 7 other classes around the well in Dalaran. Nothing spectacular but I am still alive on Aegwynn with all of my accounts.

Tomorrow I will log in with 42 accounts with characters of at least level 70 on each account. Sorry Sam, I'm still the reigning champion when it comes to the most characters multiboxed in WoW. I figured you would really like to hear about it. :) What level are your characters now? Do you have any level 80s? My lowest level is 70 per account. How about you?

Grats for downing the Authentication boss? Cool enough video, but I think people would rather see you doing something a bit more challenging than hanging out in Dal :_D

not impressed... You pay $600/mo to login and circle jerk with yourself? /grats

80s rock music FTW!
Good idea on the massive chain heal. I'm not a fan of "massive boxing", but the video was still cool. (music saved it IMO)

Cool! And I get confused/inefficient at 5 characters.. need to train some better multi-tasking!

Just watching that YouTube made my lap top lag o.O
But seriously, I've never been one to knock you, and hope you have fun at what you do...but I think the general consensus here is we want to see you raping an entire AV with your 40 toons or something. A few chain heals to "Animal" isn't really that interesting.

Actually, it's kinda impressive to realize that his target is getting 100k+ heals. LOL

I want to see 40 chain lightnings hitting the opposition in AV. You could take out a whole raid in milliseconds.

Regarding the $600 a month, if you can get expenses routed through a http://worldofwarcraft.com/visa/ is cheapens things quite a bit.

not really - it's just 1% cashback you can get that or better with any rewards card and then buy cheaper time than 15/mo rate
About comparison in massive mboxer - sam's highest toon is apparently 74 after 16 months of play and 3 raf
and the level where he has the most toon is a whooping 47 and a grand total of 3 toons over level 70...
http://www.wowarmory.com/guild-stats.xml?r=Ner%27zhul&gn=The+DeathWalker+Empire
so I don't think there is any competition
I have a question though - now that they forced you to go to battle.net - does it mean you have 40+ emails used ? I wish you could pick a battle.net login that isn't an email address...
I might be an easy audience, but still : Nice video :)

You can fit 8 accts per email so I would say about 5+ email accts to get them all.

kind of neat to see all those chain heals. Kind of confused though, is this what you pay for?
cmon lets see you do AV by yourself, lets see you take on SOMETHING tough XD show us you soloing a 25man archavon or something with 25 shamans, lets see something cool with 40 toons.
chain heal is cool, but the pentagram star chain heal thing we have been doing for years is still on par with you :P
please, we beg you to go do something really worthwhile and let us see what you pay for.
at least you didn't have terrible music, this is an improvement, keep them coming, but make them interesting =)

That is the same kind of thing regular players say about us 5 boxers.
Its his money, he can do what he damn well pleases with it! :D

I enjoyed the video. The mass boxing thing is interesting to see.
The muted compliments are amusing. This is how I speak to my children too. Nice job on your homework, for someone with such a small brain.

as 5 and 10 boxers we have solo'd end-game raid content since BC, and this is a feat which we post videos of often. As a 40boxer, the only achievements we have seen have been less than on par with the same accomplishments as a 5boxer or 10boxer can do.
I think he should take 25 of his toons and at least go do some of the easy bosses in Ulduar. see how it works =)

Two kinds of people in this world... people who accomplish things and people who complain.
It's easy to see where you fit in.
To Prepared - great vid, good work and don't let the village idiots keep you from doing what you love.

Nice vid prepared. Loved it. It's looks absolutely amazing with all those toons. It must take a lot of effort and computing power to run those simultaneously.

well I have done most of the things that we can do as 5 boxers, and I am happy with what I have done.
I admit that lvling 40 toons to 80 is an accomplishment, and thats great, but then what? The game kind of starts at 80 for most things, and theres not much room outside of party tricks to do when you are that level. outsid eof WG, I see no real reason to have this many toons and im looking for him to show us what he can do, I don'tt think that's village idiot of me, and I think its what the rest of us expect.
What we see is someone who has spent time and money to build himself a jet liner, only to use it as a bookshelf. I think we want to see more.
How about I start a list, instead of just bitching:
1. AV - lets see you turtle the hell out of AV, planting yourself infront of Iceblood GY and letting the alliance feel your wrath.
2. WG - Lets see you mow down even the sturdiest of 20x tenacity folks or something.
3. World PvP - how about a video of you oragnising a "Kill me" event where the alliance are invited to one of their cities at a specific time to try and down you or something.. when there are more than 5 opponents at once, im curious to see how you handle it.
4. Isle of Conquest - I'd like to see you circle-jerk the map and just annihilate everyone you see.
5. AQ40 / BWL / MC with 40 toons. I understand you would roflstomp them, but how about pulling the entire instance at once, or something equally as amazing and impossible with less than 40 toons.
6. Anything 25m, like Black Temple, SSC or something, roflstomping old instances is still very fun and rewarding for the accomplishment.
7. Sunwell Plateau - This would be an awesome accomplishment for you to work on, and a blast to watch. Sure its old, but see #6. solo is still impressive.
As you can tell, my list of what i think is feasible and fun to do is far more ambitious than a chain heal circle in Dalaran, and even if you lose the BG, we dont care, watching 40 toons in AV would be hilarious, and even if you wipe to 3 mages AOEing you down, id still watch it =)
Am I the only one? (sorry it was on di.fm at the time I was writing this and it seems appropriate XD)

( lol at people commenting on his $600 , still as a mboxer which pays $100 your envious on other peoples hobby spendings , the more characters you get and can play more kudos to you imo , dont comment on the money spent , its a hobby and you must understand still even tough $600 seems much , for other hobbies that might be what is expected if your really enthusiastic, its not for anyone ,but people dont go around caring about what they spend unless your way in life is to be jealous of people committing more than yourself. )
First 100 man mboxer raid on ironforge will be a sight and i will envy that person , not for his money , but for his ability to coordinate so many toons!

One question - why the need to type /cast chain heal.....? You know you can bind that to a key and have a multiplexer send the keypress to all your toons :)
I'd love to see this group in action - the only thing i've seen was the video where some druid kitty was following around 15 or so of your toons.

Absolutely !
The reason why I multi-box is that it is fun to me. A lot a uni-boxers don't get what the fun is in multi-boxing. I don't care, I know better : I have fun !
Go, Prepared ! More videos please :)

I like his vids. I like to see some good ol ass whoopin for sure but ill watch anyone stand around dal and stare at each other if they want to do it on 20, 30 or 50 accounts. If I had 20+ boxing accounts I sure stand the hell around. Cause I could.....
I stand around and watch the shammy team on sargeras alliance all the time..... (forgive me i can remember the names. to much turkey)

My chain heal is bound to a macro that casts a self chain heal. I don't have a targeted chain heal macro. When I do one of flashy things like this I just full broadcast and type it as well.

Prepared is actually the one who got me interested in multiboxing, seeing his 36 (at the time) toons running around in sync and doing his thing, made me cough up some cash to do this. If he wants to spend his time in Dal..so be it..it IS his accounts to do as he wishes. Still it would be nice to see him in a AV...hinty :)
Keep going bud, play as YOU wish to :)

What a fucking prick thing to say. Why do you care what he pays? Jealous? Small cock? This is one of the only gamer forums I have seen without pricks like you, probably because little kids can't afford to box.

it's not the amount that he pays, it's the amount of OVERKILL that is just useless in a game like this. This game is designed for 5 man parties. 90% of the content in the game is 5man group based. 10 man groups are pretty much the limit when it comes to a boxer. Anything more than that is a "that was fun for a few hours" kind of thing. Sooooo much nothing to do, lol.

I am guessing he had all characters assist and then blind forwarded all keys to all characters (or rather all shaman, but the other characters won't do anything with the wrong requested spell so no worries) and did that. Would be no reason to normally have all characters cast anything onto a single toon.
Actually I think it would be quite cool to see the characters all chain heal the party leader and the party leaders chain heal the raid leader in the right formation.
