i have succesfully installed Synergy to share 1 mouse/keyboard with 3 pc's

than i installed jamba, and i managed to make my slaves follow me and also take taxi at Flightpath.

but how do i make the slaves actually attack stuff, even when i put an icon above a mob , nothing happens.

also must you always work with raid icons, or can mobs just auto attack anything that i attack or any mob they see?

so i need more software or addons other than synergy and jamba? like innerspace orso?

thanks

you need to set your slaves to /assist main. you can set once per mob or set with each spell the slave casts. Most people have /follow, /assist, and all other group actions on one "big button"

thanks for the quick reply, but how do i configure them to /assist ? do i just type /assist on every slave computer, or do i send it from the master? or is it an option in jamba?

also do i need isboxer, and what is the use of innerspace please?

great thanks for the help :)

Jamba does not help with the attacking part of multiboxing.
It helps with taking the same flight path and following, and quest acceptance automation and that kind of thing.

You will need one of the multiboxing software applications to have your people do something.
IS:Boxer is one of the easiest to setup, and it's plenty powerful.
But, there are free options as well.

I do not want to be rude but this is extremely basic stuff that is covered extensively in the Wiki and Stickies. I suggest reading them first and come back with questions after. The answer to your original question is that you do not need anything else to successfully box (you dont even really need Jamba but it is useful). If you want to go the software route then Innerspace/ISBoxer is very good and very easy to get started as it does all the assist macros for you in the wizard. You are going to struggle with boxing until you understand the basics though.

As someone who is pretty much a newbie at this, I only started about a month or two ago. I suggest you take a look at the wiki and stickies here as well. I'd also get familiar with WoW's macro system as you will be making a lot of macro's even if you go through the ISBoxer wizard.
The first few levels will be very easy, it starts to get harder after that. I suggest once you hit 19 or 20 to try and instance and start exposing yourself. You will learn a lot from it and it will help you develop some better macro's. Instance runs for me were great in finding the macros that were very inefficient.
Also don't get discouraged by the difficulty you will get better at it. Once you read outland try some of the instances there, they are a real challenge to run with some of the fight mechanics making it very interesting to box. You will loose time leveling, but will gain a lot of experience in the process.
