I'm considering transferring 1 toon to boost a new team on KJ - as I suspended most of my subs (just reactivated 1) and I went on a spending spree before I stopped I'm kind of short on gold - I was wondering if I could use the little I do have to bring something from my realm that may be costing more on KJ - do you guys have some suggestion on what sells quickly on your realm and has a chance to be worth a lot - I did a quick search of random stuff and the prices seems about the same on what I checked (frostweave cloth; saronite ore; titanium ore...) so maybe the realm economies are about the same and there is nothing I can bring
The toon I'm considering is a miner/blacksmith so maybe that can help making money once there

The KJ economy is a lot better than the server I came from, so there wasn't anything I could bring over and make money on, So I'd advise you to check the AH pretty closely on KJ and your server.
On a side note.
Do you think you and I in the same guild is going to work out? Considering our history of you spewing obscenities at me via PM, and in IRC when you get in a twist over something I've done or something that you've misinterpreted? I don't hate you by any means, hell I don't hate anyone. People are often much different on forums than they are in game. John Gabriel's Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory may apply, who knows. Maybe you're a lot different in game than you come across on the forums, I know just about everyone is. If you really think you and I aren't going to have issues, I'd be the first to welcome you to KJ. But the first time you get in a twist again and nerd rage on me, we're going to have issues. So just, something to think about.

A big sloppy Fursphere /group hug will solve everything. :)
But as Supernova has said, the prices are wildy differenet from server to server AND from weekday to weekend. People come in and to a guild-bank dump all the time, so the price will bounce for awhile.
I suggest you login during the week and scan the auction house, then on the weekend and scan it again - and see if there is anything you can really make money off of.

It's the only way to get a point across. :p

What he said. That's really the best way to get an idea of what it's like.

I'm willing to turn the page on the past - are you ? Also I would think if you're not in a position to exert (what I perceive wrongly or not as) abusive censure and power over me; it shouldn't be a problem - are you an officer of this guild or just a player like everybody else (hopefully it doesn't matter either way - ie there wouldn't be anything to "officiate" about and no "clique" if this is just a laid back group of people sharing their passion about how to play a game) ?

Supernova is a recruiter in mah guild. Just because he's actively recruiting peoples. lawl
I'm the only person whoever boots anyone - and thats only Zod when he's mouthing off (he's gets invited back a few minutes later.. lol).
Seriously though. Just be chill and its all happyness.

All I have to say about it is this:

One has a mushroom cloud as an avatar and the other is named Supernova - the most powerful explosion in the universe.....if that doesn't scare you, what does?!?!?

I was thinking about this. One realm sells Titanium ore for 200g per stack and on Azgalor it goes for 450 per and sells all day long. Too bad I have no money on first realm :o

I predict there will be a new found respect between moorea and Super..............
either that or my prediction will be wrong :)

As far as the original intent of this post... (hmm, what was that again)
I started an alt on KJ on the same account as my main AH char on my old realm and used Auctioneers Arbitrage function with KJ data specified in the "also use" data section. It came up with nothing, at all, in the entire range of acutions, that would sell even 10% better on KJ than my home server.
Since I didn't believe this, of course, I spot checked most of the main expensive items I had been stockpiling and found it to be true. So I sold as much as I could stand waiting for and just brought the gold instead.

About my original question:
Problem is I don't want to wait the next weekend to get started, so I'll probably transfer my booster as soon as I get my hands on those 4.99 Wow classic boxes (ie tomorrow) - I guess I'll just mine stuff once there and bring in maybe 1 or 2k which should be enough for training of the boostees and maybe mounts (probably not for flying though... how much are those those days - anyone has an estimate of how much it cost gold wise to train and mount up 4 toons to 61 (regular flying, epic ground, 1-61 spells) )
I'll also make one of them a DE and maybe the instance runs will bring in some money that way
For just the mounts you're looking at 365g/toon (300g for flying). Wowwiki has spell rank tables listed with costs, but each spell works out to around 7 or 8g from 1-60. On the characters I just finished boosting to 60 they acquired around 155g ea through the few quests I turned in and selling vendor trash.

from what I recall my raf granted druid training at 61 cost about 200g so I guess 1-61 and mounts will cost about 550g or so
