I just learned to today that wherever your mouse is is where the hotkeyed screen will switch with. BUT what has happened a new times is that some screens will stack and I cant put it back to its normal position. Is there any way that I can "set back to default" during play? So far I just have to deal with it untill the next time I restart my keyclone/wows.

I believe you can use your PiP hotkeys to switch again, and get the correct window positions.
Have not really used Keyclone in quite a while, but was using the current version for 2 months or so, prior to switching to IS Boxer.
If instant PiP swaps, accurate mouse broadcasting and FTL are important to you, I'd really look at IS Boxer. HKN is as strong, but is script based, so a bit harder to tweak and alter. HKN is free, IS is $36 per year (13 months).
Keyclone is a lifetime license, and is superb for key broadcasting (as good as any other software out there)... but a bit lacking on some features such as the PiP swaps etc.

the 'instant' pip swapping is gained at a constant drag on the cpu. all screens are rendered in one buffer... at full resolution... then those buffers are scaled down and rendered into the screen you see. this puts a rather large performance hit on your system. it also does not allow the alt wows to 'spin down' thereby reducing the load on your system. and the fps you see on your wows is not what you are getting. the true fps would be the fps rendered from the offscreen buffers to the onscreen buffers.

Any chance of getting an option added so that all the screens are rendered at full resolution so that if we have the hardware, we could take advantage of faster PiP swapping? that's an option I would certainly pay for. :)

When I moved from KC to IS:B, I did notice a slight reduction in performance, particularly in an area like Dalaran.
Lax's explanation is in line with Rob's (above). IS Boxer renders everything at full resolution, which allows for instant PiP swaps and accurate mouse broadcasting, but places a greater strain on the system. ISB has some features which are quite nice, but the system needs more resources to run it.
In the case of my system, both are definitely playable. Recently, another boxer posted this issue, and with a lesser system, the strain on the computer was much more apparent.
It all depends on what you want from your software. Both are high quality programs and good for boxing.

I completely agree. An option would be absolutely amazing. :D That and some improved mouse passing would make Keyclone my favourite piece of multiboxing software, guaranteed. I'd even be more than willing to buy a new license for those. :D
