well the game comes with one month free, plus the trial is like 10 days, so if it takes you longer than that, yeah, its another $15, or $30 if you plan on using all 90 days of RAF. You can get to 60 crazy fast these days, either by questing or boosting, so unless you need a lot of lvl 60 toons you can do it all in the first free month.

Damnit, been holding off buying my extra copies of WotLK for my slaves to see if it was gonna go on sale, but apparently not. Now if it does, then it won't be till Christmas or sometime next year before Cataclysm comes out. Guess I'll have to suck it up and fork up the $125 for them. :( Too bad Guild Wars can't be multiboxed like WoW. I wouldn't mind getting back into that game again. It'd look better on my laptop now than it did on my old computer I used to play on.

Too bad they don't have this in Canada. It looks like I can order from Gamestop (only 2 copies per household), but shipping is $15 and add a few bucks for taxes/duty. Makes it less appealing to me, although it's still cheaper than retail here.

Ya know, just take a wife or GF with you and load up walk out and come back and go to a different cashier.

I've never seen people really hold true to that "1 copy" shit unless it was really big ticket (360,ps3 release ect). Especially for a computer game.

It's available online now for 4.99. They're trying to limit it to one per person, but you can circumvent this by checking out (making a separate order) for each copy you want to buy. I just bought 4 copies this way.

Yes, if you live there it's not a big deal to circumvent. Especially if it's Best Buy. Gamestop might be more difficult to get aorund if it's like the stores here where it's one person at the counter. In that case you just go visit a few different locations.

I picked up 3 accounts and went back to grab a 4th later and am receiving a message saying "Digital Upgrade is not available at this time".

Anyone else getting this? Sometime in the last 2-3 hours.

EDIT: I completed my purchase through the blizzard store and then upgraded by entering the CD key instead. Worked like a charm.

On the blizzard site I do not see it being a sale item, just showing as a $5 digital download? Are they just dropping the price to compete with other MMO's?
Also it is cool for RAF to 60 but if you need a shaman you would still need the BC?

I chose my server for low ping to the data center (im in san jose and the data center is in LA) and (at the time) more ally then horde so I have more potential victims.


The reason, I bet, why battlechest is cheap now is that at some point (maybe soon) wotlk and battlechest will be combines into a new combo package so it might be worth it to wait a bit.
