Aggro issues with Lvl 70 healer healing lvl 80 tank

Hi all,
so I have several level 80s which I do not normally multibox with and I am now trying to run my 3 toons (4 boxing) through Uthgard Keep using my 80 druid as the tank. My issue has been that after a few heals on the lvl 80 (he is more geared for dps than tanking and does most of the killing solo without the other toons help) my tank seems to lose aggro and chaos ensures lol.
Anyone got any tips on tanking with the druid or is it just because of the level difference that the lower toon is generating much more threat vs the lvl 80?
Would my lvl 80 pally be a better choice to tank and use the druid as a healer?
I have a 5th account that only needs an upgrade to Wotlk (excluding my wife's account which I have used for some experimental 5 boxing)
any insight or tips?

Two points I guess.

If your wife's account is not in your name, I wouldn't box with it at all. You will eventually be reported, and if the names are not the same on each account, that leads to banning usually.



As for the heals, bear form has a +threat modifier and cat form has a -threat modifier, so the same damage dealt as a bear is a lot more aggro then dealt as a cat. So firstly, ensure you're tanking in bear form, even if its a lower instance.

Try to just "top up" as often as possible outside of combat. With Survival Instincts and Frenzied Regeneration, you have several self survival talents.

Swipe like crazy on any multimob pull, so you have threat on everything. You can also tab from mob to mob, to have a Mangle on everything if possible. The AoE attack power debuff is decent threat too. You shouldn't have many issues with losing threat on anything you've damaged. But low-level threat can be an issue, until you've build some aggro on whatever is there.

Yes I am aware of issue of playing an account which is not in my name :) , kinda why I have been thinking of upgrading the 5th inactive account I have so that I can transfer a toon to it for the 5th in my multibox team.
I am tanking in bear form and I use swipe macroed with mangle, the one thing I am not doing is rotating through targets due to swipe seems to be hitting all targets, but I will try tabbing targets and see if that helps :)

I think the default hotkey for namebars is V.
Or maybe its Shift V, or Control V.

But with nameplates on, you have a visual reference for exactly who is hurt.

Swipe alone is PLENTY enough aggro to keep them stuck to you and off of a 70 healer. Easily. Link armory for your bear and we'll critique.

As I said he was built more as dps and really primary spec is healer, this is his secondary spec
