Ok I have had a hunt around on the forums and the wiki and cant find a solution to this question. It seems that once upon a time there was an easy way to do this but times have changed.
So I have just started up my 5x Mage team and am going to be taking them to 60. I run them all on 1 machine using keyclone to setup regions. Main screen has the leader with the other 4 in regions on my second monitor.
My question is how do I cast AoEs such as Flame Strike and Blizzard on all 5 toons(And Volley on my hunters)?
If I was reading right, it seems you used to be able to use the minimap to cast them but it has been disabled in a patch at some point. It also looks like this is easier to do if you are running all 5 instances in the same resolution (I have 4 at the same resolution)
So how do I do it? I can hit the button to activate the ability and then click on each of my 5 screens (Which takes a second or 2) but is there a batter way that I am missing?

I assume you are using KeyClone (going by your profile). There is a mouse broadcast setting in KeyClone that you can turn on and bind to a key. Under the general settings I think.
How it works:
Hitting the mouse broadcast key will toggle mouse broadcast mode on. Pushing it again will toggle it off. When on a mouse pointer will appear in all your sessions more or less synced with the main but it is not exact, may be scaling issues. When you click the mouse button KeyClone will click on the current session and then it will focus and click all the other sessions 1 by 1. After the mouse click mouse broadcasting is automatically toggled off.
Moving or clicking the mouse while it is switching between sessions to do the mouse click can have unexpected side effects. It is not great but it does work, just don't plan on using it in the heat of the moment. It is more of a toggle it, click and wait for a second or two.

Old thread appears to be gone or moved or something. :P

See if that link works. Basically, it's all about setting the same camera angle on each toon and then using a mouseclick broadcasting option (most apps have it these days).

You can accomplish this with Keyclone, but the mouse broadcasting is not a strength of the program.
To do it, you would:
Click Set Up.
General Tab.
Set a "pass-mouse-click hotkey"
And check one-click then off.
Hit the keybind for the ground target AoE.
Press your hotkey.
Click the ground where you want it.
Unfortunately, it will kind of flicker from one screen to another.
Actually doing brief PiP swaps to click everywhere.
With KC, its just as easy to physically move your mouse into each window.
Hot Key Net has a strong mouse broadcast option, and its a free program.
IS Boxer also handles mouse broadcasting very well.
If mouse broadcasting and general flexibility within your program is important.
Take a hard look at these options.

Thanks for that I will look into it. Not sure how important it is to me right now, but if it becomes an issue I may look at switching programs.

I believe several boxers use HKN in conjunction with Keyclone.
Basically HKN for the mouse broadcast.
I like IS Boxer, its as powerful as HKN, and a lot easier to configure.
Either is a lot stronger then Keyclone, giving you a ton more options in what you can do.
But if KC is doing what you need it to...
There's no reason to upgrade.
