Hi,

i multibox with isboxer. i play 5 shamans, of course, all of them got their interface setup equally. but when i startet my team today, one of them (2nd) hat a plane config.wtf (intro video startet, res was at default, bars where as default).

this makes it impossible to play for me. i used keyboard+mouse repeating to set my interfaces up, but since 4 of them are already setup i can not create an exact copy for only one of my wow-instances. my playstyle requires everything to be at the exact same position for all my 5 wow-instances.

i used virtual configs (config1.wtf to config5.wtf). any idea why config2.wtf suddently without any reason resettet?

this is soooooo bad. i might quit, since setting everything up again (positions, key-bindings, add-ons etc.......) would just suck as hell....

is this a isboxer bug? any idea how i can fix this?

thank you for helping
Filon

No, there is no known reason why you would lose your virtualized Config.WTF files. Also, your "bars" are not kept in Config.WTF

the actionbars, interface, addons, (maybe keybindings) are in the WTF and Interface folders. WTF folder has all your configs for your user interface while the Interface folder houses the addons.

isboxer does not mess with those folders if I am not mistaken.

Should be easy to fix if all of them are set up the same just copy the WTF from one of the other toons and rename it accordingly and editing the username info etc. As long as ISBoxer is still set up for that toon you "should" be good.

You should always back up your WTF folder and your ISBoxer config.

You can go into the WTF folder and copy the .LUA files for the addons you want to set.
And then paste them into the folder of the toon who needs their stuff fixed.

The only thing not stored there are what spells are on which buttons.
But you get the settings for every addon, the frame positions, keybinds, macro's etc.
