Argent Confessor Paletress - ToC 5

Hi all,

I wondered if anyone had a good tactic for this boss, i just keep wiping on her.

My team:
1x pala 80
3x sham ele
1x sham resto

Dps is around 1500~1600.

What do i do, drop the totems, and go pew pew. At a point she summons the "ghost", i start dpsing it. Fearing is not a problem, usually a fear of a second. But i cant seem to down the "ghost" its keeps his hp around 100k, is he healing himself??. At that point im usually oom with my dps-ers, anyone got a clue what i am doing wrong here?

All other bosses i havent got any problem.

ps. Didnt find anything with search only the toc pve tacts, not specifically on this boss. Maybe its a good idea to make forums for tacts like this:

You have to purge him of the renew that Paletress casts on him. It heals him for alot.

Not sure how much it heals on normal but on Heroic it heals for 22K every 3 secs I believe. Get in the habit of purging him or wind shearing Paletress to keep her locked out.. I can't remember if wind shear will lock her out of her spells or not but you can definately purge the renew off the nightmare.

Add a purge macro on your resto shaman and keybind it to the same bind as your main dps spammed button of your elemental shaman. That way you purge it immediately without having to even pay attention. Incoming damage is so low in this fight, your healing stream totems will be able to handle almost all of the healing.

This makes this fight a snoozer if you have tremors stacked.

I don't run shamans, but this fight became much easier -- er, I should say, possible -- when I added a macro to my priest to dispel magic off the Memory. I regularly down her on heroic now, though I must admit that I still much prefer drawing Eadric. :)

I've also got a druid team that just can't cope with Paletress on regular. I try to just burn through the Renew but they're not tough enough. No idea how to do it without something to dispel that awful, awful regen.
