As stupid as this may sound, i think I want to turn off the RAF Xp gains. I made 1 new account and RAffed it up to the my main account, after boosting my way up levels in instances (leveling a pali for my 4 shammies), i was like, i dont wanna do the 1 pally, 4 shammy setup..
So im thinking about making a 5 team of druids
but my main and the new account are getting x3 xp and the others are not, would kinda like them to be near eachother, might level in BG's or instance or w/e...
Odd question, but would help out alot
or is it better to have the 2 higher, but would reduce the XP on the alts even more. (being higher level).... :(
3X quest XP only works if the other is nearby when you turn it in, yes? Or you can do some quests on the non-RAF and skip them on the RAF if they get ahead too much.

im thinking the instance route though :0, but come to think of it, blizzard could do this for me!
and yes they need to be near eachother, but its a pretty long range, o and grouped

Off hand, my instinct would be to RaF level as many chars as possible to 60, grant as many levels as possible from that, and then use transfers to get the right balance of classes/account when RaF is over.

I'd just leave the RAF on, and do content challenging for the lower 3 toons.
The higher levels will take some extra exp's, but make the content that much easier too.
If you really want to, you can visit the npc for turning experience off.
This was for those who wanted to be twinked in battlegrounds.
It cancels exp's from every source, but costs a small amount of gold to turn on or off.

I'm about to add two more accounts to my three and am a little concerned that one account will not be getting 3 XP like the rest. Two accounts will RAF my new two accounts, leaving my third old account without any bonus. Argg!! But I think it's worth the extra trouble with this one account always being behind. Maybe it could do extra questing to make up for it? A little solo exp.
I assume this 3 XP mechanic is automatic and can't be turned off. Stop me! I'm going to fast!!

I would personally take the account with the single highest tank type on it.
And not RAF from that one.
Or if you want a bunch of RAF'd toons on that account, consider a character transfer.
With the tanking type moved to the account which will not be linked.
Then use the tank type to boost the other four.
And get a whole slug of toons at 60th during the RAF.
If your set up is similar to this:
A
B - D
C - E
You can level toons to 60th on BCDE twice, and then grant toons to 60th on BC once.
Which gets you BC x3 Toons at 60th and DE x2 Toons at 60th.

Do not RAF 5 toons when they will expire at different times, It sux so bad when some of the toons race ahead and the others just as well stop. Better to do the 3 now and then start the next 2 and still level as many to 60 as you can.
From my own bad expierence:(
