The software (http://www.dual-boxing.com/mediawiki/index.php/Everquest_II) guides in the wiki may help - failing that, try a search

I used a guide that was available on the ISBoxer website, and it worked perfectly for me. It did, however, take several hours for me to get everything figured out and set up. I'm using 2 monitors, and that helps a ton. I've got my main on one screen and the other five arranged on the second. There's a section of ISBoxer (I can't remember the name and I'm at work so I can't look it up) where you define the regions for each monitor and the account to be displayed there. Once you get that set up, it should work just fine - displaying all 6 accounts in their proper locations.
Sometimes when my accounts launch, one of them might be in a TINY little window nowhere near where they're supposed to be and not nearly as big. If I use my hotkey to switch that account (making it the "main" account on my primary monitor), it then restores to the correct size and location. That happened this weekend; it's pretty rare and has been easy to fix so I haven't spent any time trying to diagnose it.
I've played EQ2 from launch, then took a hiatus to play WoW, then dual-boxed EQ2, then dual-boxed WoW and soon thereafter took the plunge to 5-boxing WoW. That's when I found this website, which has been a huge blessing. I'm now 6-boxing EQ2 and having a blast. ISBoxer really does seem to be the consensus tool for EQ2, and I've had good luck with it (other than annoying little things that don't affect gameplay like the wrong account always having my preferred graphics/sound settings). It also seems to be perfectly acceptable to SOE, as I've never heard of any issues with its use.
I am now enjoying the game as much as ever. EQ2 is a great game to multi-box, as the large number of classes offer a lot of interesting synergies and group dynamics. There's a lot of variety to choose from, and a HUGE number of quests and zones. I hope you can get your accounts up and running and enjoy the game as much as I have been. Good luck!
p.s. I would link to that guide on the ISBoxer website, but my webfilters here at work won't allow me to reach that site. It was a step-by-step guide, and included sections on whether you'd be using multiple computers or a single one. It took a long time to complete, but really did work almost perfectly right from the start. Good luck (again) :)
