I am getting the strangest lagg on my main char. I run 4 drones on a 2n'dary screan and my main on the primary screan. But heres the deal, the drones get 15 fps when their not seleceted and 45 when I switch to one, just as they are set in keyclone, But for some reason my main holds 10 FPS at all times. Its very poor performance for the Orc starting zone. So I was just wondering if anyone knew what the problem could be? Iv tried fooling around with the setting on FPS in keyclone, but to no avail. any help would be wonderfull.

Not really sure..

How are the graphic settings on the main, in comparison to the alts?

More then 1x AA, causes a strain on the system.
Having shadows enabled is a major strain too.
View distance can strain the system, but I generally leave this on.

Have you tried to monitor your CPU usage and RAM usage? If you use your cpu to the limit along with your RAM you will get a low fps.

You can also setup your main to one specific cpu core and the rest to the other cores to make sure your main is always performing best.

Also, be aware that some mods like questhelper drains alot of system ressources.

This sounds like a graphics issue. Check the settings on the main and make sure you don't have it all beefed up. The alts are probably hitting 45fps because they have lower graphics settings compared to the main.
This happened to me when I first started using ISBoxer, except that all my clients were at max graphics and I was pulling 12fps.

Thats the thing all my graphics on all my toons are low, I don't know what 1xAA means however. My CPU ussage is maxed, but that doesn't explain why any one of my alts will get 45 fps and my main never breaks 12. Iv set back my grapics card all the way for performance, and all the video settings in game are identical.

Just out of curiosity did you set an FPS limiter? It's possible you may have set your main to be limited like a slave and the slave that gets 45fps could have the setup that your main should.

like this chap said, check the dps limiter, it restricts the framerate to improve performance on clones, you may have put it on 10 - 10 so it always stays 10, OR you have your graphics too high, you cant exspect tor un the same quality on the main as you would if you didnt box.

all down to configuration and hardware

Open Warcraft, getting to the B.Net/Password screen.
Click Options and then Video.
On the right, under Multisampling, you want a 1x option.
Then click on Effects.
Shadows on is a major performance drain.

If you have Vista/Win7, disabling Aero can help performance a lot.
Also turning of drive indexing is a boost.

Are you using Pitbull?

Had some similar problems lately, and it helped when I updated and played around with settings a bit (not quite sure what I did :))

Btw. I only had this problem when I was playing with a DK as main.
