Activate on Key Press

As I puruse Wowinterface daily (it's an obsession), I noticed this new addon and thought I would get opinions about.

I never realized that the spell/ability etc... was activated on key release. The author says his add activates on key press and depending on your latency could save you 100ms or so. That could be pretty significant I think, thoughts?

Most of the addons out there that modify macros, help create macros, or modify your action bars already accomplish this.

Downloading this addon may just be extra that you don't need. It's really easy to test if an addon already does this for you, just load WoW without any sort of key repeating software and press a key and hold it down. If the spell goes off you're set no need for extra addons. If it doesn't well then this may provide a very small benefit.

If you have high latency and download this addon you will likely see 0 change, It benefits people with an already low latency the most.

HKN, ISBoxer and Keyclone do this as well since anything not defined as a movement key is sent as keydown keyup almost instantaneously.

Thanks Bettysue, sometimes it is the most obvious answer that I miss. And since I already use HKN, I'm probably good.
