My roommate has an interesting but, which I'm not sure how to fix.
Any auction listed, instantly cancels, which puts the item into the mailbox.
But he's still out the listing fee.
The only auction related addon is Auctioneer.
It's the latest version.
*Edit*
He gets the same results with all addons disabled.
This is a clean/fresh install of warcraft (just formatted and installed Win7).

Even with a fresh wtf folder and no addon folder?

Ya.. which is rather baffling.
We ran the Repair tool and it found something.
But after a short re-patch, had the same issue.
If he lists the auctions as 24 hours, they post fine.
But the preferred 48 hour listing, is canceled immediately.
Submitted a ticket, see what the GM's say.

i believe a few people are having this. It think it is a bug with the auction house. happened to me a few times as well when I posted a batch post of 5 blues daggers at 48 hours at 2G 85s deposit fee. after it was posted it just ended back in my mailbox, minus the auction deposit >.>
i'll try to see if auctioneer is the culprit.

I had this bug about 2 am last night. I am unsure if it is fixed now.

It doesn't look like auctioneer is the culprit.
We have the same error for 48 hour auctions, with all addons disabled.

I have had the same problem. Posted 6 auctions and all 6 were returned minus the ah cut. All addons were disabled at the time as well. Looks to be a game glitch imo.

Blame the Goblins, they needed some "vig" to cover the costs of going Horde

Roommate got a response to his in-game ticket.
The GM's said it was a server side error, which has since been fixed.
They reimbursed my roommate 10% of the auction fees.

10%? I hope they reimbursed 100% of the ah fee =D

My roommate plays the auction house.
On any given day, his mailbox will be full, several times over.
Anything that does not sell, is gathered again and then listed (bulk) via Appraiser (auctioneer).
He mentioned... I thought I just listed these a while ago.
And we checked, they were not listing but going to the mail.
According to MoneyFu, he spent 250g in auction fees.
And the GM reimbursed 25g.
So 10% not 100%

Uh...put this in the funny typo thread.

Typo's can be fun at times.
Or back in the EQ days, we had /g for group chat, and /gu for guild chat.
I played with 3 others, and our group chat was sometimes inappropriate for guild chat (which was supposed to be PG).
It's pretty easy to /gu instead of /g, especially when you use both of them a lot.
