Hi everyone!

Poolboy here, I just wanted to officially say hello and introduce myself to the D-B community.

Been lurking for a little while and last week I took my 1st baby steps into boxing. I grabbed 2 WoW Battlechests during the xmas holidays cuz they were on for $19.99 up here in Ontario. That's WoW + TBC + 2 Official Guides.... for 20 bucks, woo! I now wish I had bought 4, in case I can eventually get into 5 boxing. Then, after a pile of reading, and being extremely impressed with the community here I bought Keyclone as well.

As for now though, I have tinkered with running a 3 toon (3x Locks) combo. I must admit, I vastly underestimated the work involved in setting up my ingame stuff in order to effectively box. I will say though, that Keyclone itself was a breeze! I can't say enough good things about it!

Anywho, hello all - I hope to be hanging around a lot more, and chatting it up with you all over the next while.

Cheers
PB

hi Poolboy and welcome to the forums!

if you are on US servers, considering joining the zerg on magtheridon... its a very friendly multi-boxing server (xzin paved the way with alliance blood ;) )

personally, i think it'd be cool if everyone rolled a group on magtheridon... and if the call went out, via vent/irc (hint hint), we could all show up in a massive group (imagine 100 people with 3-5 characters each storming IF or SW... hehehehe)

i do believe something that massive has never been seen before

Thanks for the welcome! =)

Mag is a pvp server right? I enjoy a bit of pvp here and there I'll admit... but I've never leveled a char up on a pvp server. I imagine it's more frustration than I need? :(

The thought of getting together with other DB'ers though is extreeemely enticing =) Likely a whole ton of advice/assistance to be had which is always a great thing.

I levelled up my first char ever on a PvP server and only REALLY got irritated once or twice. It was due to corpse campers.
The good thing about joining us on Mag is you'll have a huge guild to help you in those instances :)

PvP servers add that extra little bit of excitement IMHO. Don't want to push you, but, give it a try, you might like it :)

It hasn't but if / when we do, we should document it.

Preparing for battle would look something like this:

Till you crash the server because of too many players in the same location aka the TM and Hillsbrad zerg fests of days gone by.

That screenshot is legen... wait for it... dary! (Sorry, I have been How I Met Your Mother deprived and I just couldn't help it lol.) Glad to see you started Multi-Boxing as well, I just started a couple days ago after I got the same deal you did. Seeing I also live in Canada... an amazing deal so I picked up a couple copies.

I bought Keyclone and I must admit it is simply an amazing tool, and I have a great appreciation as to all the coding and time you have put into it. It has made my first attempts at Tri-Boxing a breeze and very enjoyable, even better are when you get the questions, and this one is a favorite of mine, Are you triplettes in real life? I wasn't even sure how to respond to such a question.

But since this is my first post, and this was a hello thread, I figured instead of making my own I would post in here to just to say Hello to everyone! In what I think it one of the best communities I have come across. So... HELLO EVERYONE! :)

hi Phaith... and welcome to the forums!

i am proud of the group we have here... the community is by far much cooler then the other web areas i have been through

if you get a chance... please think about rolling some horde on US-magtheridon... we'll get you into the zerg

we really need to make that pic look puny in comparison to what the zerg can pull together !

Don't roll horde damnit, they have enough as it is, go Alliance instead and give me and the 2 or 3 others company and the Zerg some competition ;p

so im boxing a pve team on my home server of frostmane (US). seeing this thread however, i am very very highly considering rolling a pvp team on mag =\

u have to admit, if 10 people successfully raided SW, it would go down in history. there would be 50 characters, but still 10 people :D

u guys are making me want to give mroe time to wow than i already do =\
