I'm about to go from 2 accounts to 3 and i have some questions

Well i am not sure i want to open the new account on Raf

1. I don't want 2 of my toons out xping the third

2. I don't care about the mount as only 1 toon will get it

3. I'm not sure i care about granting bonus lvls to any other toons it kind of falls in the same class as issue 1 i dont want odd lvl teams i build a team from the ground up and i don't like them to get out of sync and i dont mix the teams once i make them

anything I'm missing let me know if I'm tarded lol

I suppose it depends on what you have and what you want to end up with.

You have A + B.
You could RAF from B to C.
And boost B + C, with A several times.
And then do character transfers.

You can just group A + B + C, and level as if RAF never existed.

If you're only planning on doing one team of three, this isn't that painful.

But if you'd like 3x Class A, 3x Class B, 3x Class C and 3x Class D etc.
The RAF route will be the one to go.
Because you can level up AA then BB then CC then DD.
Then you can grant two toons on B to 60th.
And transfer them to Account A.
And have something like AAA, BBB, CC, DD.
You could also then boost another C and D, on the two RAF accounts.
And transfer them both to A.
That would be four toon transfers, which isn't free.
But you'd have four sets of three characters.
And it would have been a small fraction of the time to get there without RAF.

In the end, its a preference call.

Get two new accounts. Link one to A, and one to B. If you don't want to actually OWN two new accounts, that is fine - just use a free account for 14 days as your fourth account. Then level with all 4 characters together so everyone gets the exp bonus. When your 14 days are up just ditch the 4th account. Once you hit your first team to 60 in less than 24 hours /played, you'll realize that RAF is absolutely amazing, and that leveling sub 60 w/out it is unthinkable.

If that is too much work for you, you for some reason don't want to bother with a fourth account (although really, it's super easy!) then do RAF. If for no other reason than it really is amazingly fast, you get a free horsie, and you also get a free month of wow. Get your free 15 bucks bud.

Except that trial accounts can only go up to level 20, if I remember correctly.

I do think that getting two new accounts might be the way to go, and transfer off toons from one of your existing accounts (that you'll ditch) to an account you'll keep. Then you have an existing account that's connected to two new accounts, all of which will get RAF. Ualaa had some good ideas, too.

I have 4 brand new boxes for vanilla wow sitting on the chest of drawers next to the computer :)

They are going to be nice and ready for cataclysm next year :)

If you dont want to RAF yourself, let me.

I'll enjoy the mount, even if there is only one of them AND I promise not to play with you and mess up your XP acquisition rates :P

I agree with the buy 2 new accounts an RAF for at least the first 30 days. A new copy of WoW costs $20 and your existing account gets 1 free month out of it, so really it only costs you $5 if you never use it again and if you play enough you could easily get 2-3 teams up in that time.

Keep in mind that you either have to pay to upgrade the accounts for expansions or pay for transferring your chars to another account.

I'm boosting a team through cath at the moment and strath later - with heirlooms the xp is pretty in fact pretty decent, but it does require a booster (meaning you can't boost a team of 5).

There's a 3rd option.

A) Upgrade the accounts, level the toons, keep the accounts.
B) Level the toons without upgrading, transfer the toons.
C) Level toons on your upgraded keeper accounts, while grouped with vanilla throw away accounts. Never upgrade the throw away accounts, and lose the leveled toons on those throw away accounts.

Option C is decent, if for example you already have... A, B, C, D and E.
And those accounts are fully upgraded with Classic + BC + Wrath + say Cataclysm.
You could buy 4 throw away accounts, purely for RAF.

Link 2 of them to B and C.
So we have B - F and C - G.
Use a toon on A, D or E to boost the B-F and C-G toons.
Do as many teams as you like.

Then link 2 more to D and E.
So we have D - H and E - I.
Use a toon on A, B or C to boost the D-H and E-I toons.
Do the same number of teams.

Unfortunately, you have to level twice for a new four-some.
The BC-FG and then the DE-HI.
But they level 3x faster, so you're only investing 1/3rd + 1/3rd the normal 1-60 time.
So its still a lot faster then 1-60 on BCDE without RAF.
And the FGHI accounts do not need to be upgraded to BC, Wrath or Cataclysm.
Since they're throw away accounts anyway, they can partner with your keeper Draenei/Blood Elves as any classic race.

Whoa there that's a lot of WoW lol
I'm only gonna play 3 accounts its done I got the third already
I'm not into more than three and def not for toon transfer and toss it
