Hello All,
First of all i want to thank Dual-boxing.com for letting me discover the wonderfull world of multiboxing.
Im a multiboxer for about 2 weeks now but i built myself a rig with multiboxing in mind a month ago
here's the visual (work in progress)
Gaming rig (work in progress) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vrsugKWJdg)
Specs:
- intel I7 EE
- 2 Corsari SSD 128 in RAID 0
- 2 x 2 TB HDD
- 12Gb Corsair Dominator ram
- 2x Nvidia GTX 295 (SLI setup)
- MSI Eclipse plus Mobo
- and Corsair powerblock 1000+
- 3x Samsung 305t+ 30 inch monitor
- Windows 7
- G13 an G19 Keyboard
- all of it an a Cosmos S case and Watercooled
So with such a system i should be happy and Multiboxing should be a breeze ....
NOT !!!!
i have used keyclone and this works best so far all boxes set to MINIMUM and then i can play normally every now and then a freeze for about 15 to 30 seconds
i got tempted to use ISBoxer but here the nightmares began the game takes about 5-6 minutes to launch all 5 windows and when i log in (if i manage) it takes another 5 minutes to log in, then to see that screen switching takes 2 minutes.
so in short not a very enjoyable wow multiboxing session
is it the 30 inch monitors? or something else i checked all my drivers, bios everything did a full format but no improvement.
i also checked if i could play Crysis and the game runs as smooth as i ever seen
i put my multiboxing on hold cuz i discovered the wonders of boosting and RAF so i am boosting a bunch of toons now to 60 but as soon that i have my teams to 60 i want to enjoy the power of multiboxing
i also discovered that running 5 wow boxes on my imac goes far more smoother then on my (Monster?) PC.
I have a Mac Pro that's goin to be delivered in a week or so but i dont want to use that to play WoW.
I really would like to use ISBoxer because it has a lot more posibilities then Keyclone imo.
and i really would like to 5 box or even 10 box in the future
Sorry for the wall of text but im kinda dissapointed and looking for some help
