/follow broken again?

umm... Vehicle follow broken again?

I can't follow while doing horse dailies, or in the ToC anymore, I can't follow while in WG in tanks etc etc..

did they nerf / fix / break this again?

I did ToC dailies today, no issues. Dual boxed FL in Ulduar (vehicles) on wednesday, no issues

Just to be ab-so-certain,
what macro are you using? I'm pretty sure /follow focus is broken. The one I use that never fails is the /follow Mooni (assuming your name is Mooni)

/focus [leadername] + /follow focus is still working, nothing changed.
Did you recently add some random crappy add-on which broke something?

Oh no not me, was just getting weird messages of "Did not set focus because that character is not in your member list" or something. This was a few months ago, the early days of trying to box HToC. So I added that other line to the focus macro, and then made a separate follow macro (since we lose focus when the focus gets on a mount, or something).

My addons aren't crappy >.<
I don't break things; Blizzard does when the good idea fairy whispers in their ears late at night with "I know you've always done it this way, but from now on I've got a new way you can slip in without telling anyone..."

no, I figured out the reason, its because you drop focus when you enter a vehicle, and my leader macros are like


/target Mcenvy
/target Msenvy
/target Seoyong
/target Heji
/target Mcenvi
/target Niftykin
/focus
/follow
/assist


with all my character names in the macro for each account, which makes switching teams really easy, but burns the vehicle following ><

anyone have a good workaround for this?

Yeah that's what I do is combine both so they keep doing what they were doing.
Like if I hit F1 it'll be:

/target mooni
/focus
/focus mooni

That way I can use it for my day-to-day stuff as well as vehicular madness.
Most of all, it's useful for pissing off people with FTL setup.

I had it quit working for me one time while doing ToC dailies, i logged off and back on and it started working again. /follow focus that is.
