Well just got in touch with an old gamer friend i mean spent hours and hours blowing shit up on socom together. So tonight turned on my ps3 updated everything started playing resistance 2 and realized how much i missed blowing shit up. So i guess tomorrow after work imma go buy socom again so i can get in touch with my boy and the boys i used to spend 110 hrs a day blowing shit up on.
I love wow wont leave it but like every good thing you need a break. Only wish i could get a break from the old lady lol. But if you all play on ps3 ill add you on there so we can chill out on a game if we have the same ones. Peace.

I'm having trouble with 2 other games cutting into WoW time: Forza 3 and Borderlands.
Not to mention Dragon Age: Origins and Tekken 6 were just released. And I just bought the metal track pack for rock band 2 yesterday! So many games....so little time.

It sucks cause i love playing ps3 like resistance 2 and any other shooter game. Not to mention i love tiger woods golf and most sports games. Not sure if wow can keep my mind preoccuipied with so many new games coming out.
We will see. Although, i will always come back to wow. Dont feel like making up lost time.

A bit of this, and then a bit of that.
I find the games like wow can keep me interested far longer, partially because of the number of combinations/options, but mostly because you make friends while you play.
But wow is the same thing over and over, after a while. Well technically any past time is... But, getting a break from it, to do something different every now and then, is a really good refresher. And then we come back to wow and are charged and such. Plus having full rested on three sets you're working on, is a nice bonus too.

I take breaks from WoW with other games every few months it seems. Last game I really got into was Rock Band. I'm thinking about trying Uncharted 2.

Don't think, just get Uncharted. Honestly, it's the single best campaign experience I've had yet. If you really liked Uncharted 1, you'll adore Uncharted 2.
My husband and I tend to take breaks from WoW for other games now and then. We just reactivated wow a couple months ago, but with L4D2 out as well as a few games on PS3 we haven't touched yet... it's hard to find a balance.

i stopped playing wow for more than like 15 minutes once dragon age came out. then when we finally got copies of assassins creed 2, i stop playing dragon age and moved on to it.

How do you like it so far? We haven't gotten it yet, but I was thinking about picking it up before the holiday weekend.

i think its awesome. its not as dull and repetative as the first. theres more side missions you can do, more choice in weapons/armor, and having the villa to work on and bring up is nice. and they dont have kings flags that you have to hunt down and collect in every single zone....
plus double hidden blades for twice the stealth kills. its also not as simple to kill everything. the ai is better so you cant just parry and kill everyone. as you go through, they "get smarter" and more will also block your return hits. smoke bombs help counter this alot though. toss it down and stealth kill as many as you can before it clears.
if you liked the first one at all, i suggest at least trying this one.
