View Full Version : What did you do yesterday in WoW

Taking off of Mebben's thread "What did you do today in WoW" and my curiosity as to where my progression falls with others. I would like to know where you all are at in your progression.

I personally have two lines of progression. My own where I have the team in my sig and another where I heal and DPS with a friend tanking. Gearing solely through heroics, badge gear and one or two AH purchases I have all heroics down, but Occulus, Halls of Stone, Tournament of Champions and Utgarde Pinnacle. With my friend tanking we have only Eregos to down, even with someone else helping on this boss I still find it a challenge. I am also waiting for it to be the daily so that I can check off the heroic daily achievement, before 3.3 makes it impossible. Eventually I will hit Naxx with my small guild, once more of them hit 80.

I have a second team with only one shaman to see what I can do without any characters of the same class, I am waiting to move them into Deadmines once I can acquire the badges to get the heirloom weapons. This is also the first team where I level all five at the same time. It appears this is turning into what I have done and want to do.

After a year or so of lurking I know where a lot of you are at, soloing all heroics, Naxx and more. If you haven't posted before of your own progression, now is your chance to crow about your achievements.

Did heroic daily on two teams (and a few random dungeons for the undergeared team) and worked on my 4 ret 1 dk (group 3 and most undergeared) group macros. Sometimes this game feels like a job!

Ran my 15 daily route (Icecrown) for my 5 toons.
Did a few bubbles of play on my mixed team, but got fed up with wow freezing so watched downloaded movies after that.

I've been really slow in my progression i guess, but the main reason i box is because my playtimes and dates are so sporadic, it's hard to find a fun group that keeps the same pace. I have a bunch of buddies in a raiding guild, but really just like to chat with them while online, and sometimes ride one of their alts with me to help get them gear and badges.

Shortly after hitting 80 on my main team (in sig) I bought every upgrade i could afford and crafted anything else I could manage and started out into the world of heroics. I have been nailing Moorabi to the floor since the first try and every time since, he's my personal pin cushion. But most of the heroic bosses above him have been a lot harder.

The first full heroic I dropped was UK and I spent a few months farming 3 bosses in Gundrak and a few in UK until recently when 3.2 released the conquest badges to me. Since then, with the help of some much better badge gear and the 2 new drums, I have finished Gundrak, Drak'Tharon and made a good start into the Old Kingdom. Heroics are feeling much more manageable now, and now that I know I'm over the hump there as it were, I'm starting to pick up a little on my 5-Mage and 5-Shaman teams I left back at 60 from RaF. With the new BG XP, they are begining to come up nicely and will eventually give me some team mixing options.

ps - (i don't think he means literally yesterday guys... ;) More like what have you accomplished in days passed. )

Guild Battlegrounds. Epic AV turtle.

Dont forget the epic AV 6 4-5 boxer pwnage fest! I think Drek went down in like 12 seconds....

Indeed Aboron my subject wasn't meant to be literal. :)

I can also relate to Moorabi as a pin cushion. Before this team I had, Horde side, three shaman, a tree druid and my current DK. When I felt the time was right shortly after hitting 80 on them all I went and visited Moorabi. He became my nemesis, try as I might I couldn't down him. Then 3.08 came out, I think that was the Elemental Shaman buff patch, I went into Gundrak and faced Moorabi again. He handed me my lunch. I tried once more, failed and quit for two or three weeks.

After leveling my mage, priest, and shaman to 80, and faction change brought my DK and one of my old Horde shaman to the Alliance. I went back into Gundrak and smoked Moorabi. Then two shot Eck, after that heroics fell easier than I thought they ever would.

Although I still cannot manage to get Less-rabi, I still try though. ;)

I know what you mean about less-rabi, i have nothing but spell interrupts all over my team, the DK with Mind freeze and 3 priests all spec'd for Silence on RR. And he only gets 3 tries before He's dead, but that last one is just so hard to hit right.

But I did get "What the Eck" on most of them last time through, due to a mis-judgement of the range when I set up to kill Eck and he got loose on everyone.

Not sure I have the patience to even try the Impaling one, and the snakes one just happens on it's own.

Hit 2000 in 5v5. Then we went and camped the chest in STV. The horde were furious and called me a griefer.

Nothing. I had no time to play yesterday.

Today, I'm wiped out, so I'm going to hit the sack early, and get up tomorrow and take Moorabi out, then run some errands, and then hopefully run some more tomorrow night.

Same thing Sunday, and all next week. Not a whole lot of time to play right now, but it's cool, I needed a break.

Moorabi has been my pincushion for two weeks now, he's been on farm for a while, I'm getting tired of DEing the helm! I've had the cape drop twice.

I'm still experimenting with Eck, 50/50 at this point - I watched a video on Youtube and instead of stacking my team on either side of the stair, I put them in the corner next to the pillar after the cave. Works better, and easier to kite him up and turn him towards the stair. The tricky part for me is healing when he jumps aggro - I keep missing that last heal, I've had him down to under 5% and wiped so many times, it's killing me (thus the break).

I've got Ormorock, or whatever, in Nexus on farm, he's pretty easy to heal through, with his spikes.

I'm 2 for 4 on The Prince in UK, my last attempt I blew it on the pull, and he and the adds wiped me fast. I can get him again, he's not that hard, if you have your AOE under control, and macro /target icy tomb.

My next target is the next two bosses in UK, and I tried the gatekeeper guy in AK, but went OOM on the third pack, going to have to try that one a few more times.

Violet Hold is easy if I get the lava pup, otherwise, not so good. I need to study the fights in there more closely, I cleared it my first normal run, I did'nt pay enough attention.

I'm 8 badges from my first piece, I'll probably get the belts, some buckles, and some gems, and keep going!

There's not much left for me to buy, anyway, all of the Ulduar/TOC pattern stuff is over 10k on my server, and crusader orbs are 900-1000k each. 3.3 will bring that price down.

Ran WG on my Shaman and Druid teams to complete the 2nd set of WG weeklies (20K honor for each team :D). In between the two battles, I did Icecrown dailies on my DK team team, and ran a heroic on my Pally Team.

Spent some time levelling profs on my Warlock team as well (now at lvl 71).

I have too many teams lol.

1) Logged in with 10k gold(when I calc.exe'd it across 7 alts) and a dream. My main source of income is Argent Tournament dailies. Most alts are on different steps of Icecrown crap. So I don't do more than 6-7 dailies in Icecrown a day. I'm glad I've discovered the Champion's Purse.
2) Dailies got me up to about 11.8k. I decide to do the ENTIRE sons of hodir chain, which I had previously never started. That got me up to about 14k.
3) Grr still not enough for the dream! Take 3 shamans and run from the beginning of the Argent Crusade thing in Icecrown all the way up to the trip to A'dal. I'm just about to take the last step of the quest when I realize that I've got one alt I haven't plundered yet. I have 16009 gold!
4) Buy mammoth.
5) Spend 25 minutes coming up with a macro to make the mammoth really awesome (it's in the macros thread; like a Traveler's Tundra Mammoth, you can't miss it!)
6) Someone won't shut up about 10 Ony needs tank so I decide to go on a whim. It's making to be a grrrrr-eat pug.
6a) The other tank is a pre-naxx DK.
6b) The other other tank is a pally who says "Summon please" then ignores it. He's also in Arathi Basin.
6c) Someone pulls the first two warders by accident. At the end of that fight they somehow go AFK while autorunning into a third.
6d) Judgement Helm (the tank one) drops. Other pally offers me 1k if I win it. I win it immediately and tell him I can't part with it. He says I've been trying to get that foreverrrrrrrrrrrr and then we're done talking.

~intermission~ Mental note: When you're broke, upgrades that drop are a curse.

7) Run my best friend (who is an 80 DK) through LBRS, UBRS to do about 7 quests for her Loremaster then attunement for BWL. SO cash. Blackrock is probably the best marvel of architecture ever and she'd never once been there.
8) Same Ony10 guy is yelling for a tank and deeps for partial Naxx, just need Loatheb, Saph and KT.
9) Get to Naxx. There's some newly minted druid who's got advice on how to do everything.
9a) Someone says "Let's kill this n@#$%" when we get to Loatheb. I pull, we kill for a long freakin time because the drupid is locked out of the room.
9b) After Loatheb (and much cheerleading and whining) the druid insists that he's STILL top DPS.
9c) The same druid dies on the first ice block fighting Saphiron.
9d) We fight KT, nothing much happens other than the druid asking if I'm going to bunch the adds up so he can AoE.
10) Ony25 pug with some of the same people from the first one and the first Naxx (don't you love weekends?) I'm MT this time, for the first time ever, because we have a ton of pallies.
10a) One of the offtanks is a healer paladin who is trying out a tank spec. He's got everything keybinded to one key, which unfortunately includes both taunt buttons.
10b) He turns Ony 90 degrees in the first 30 seconds, which kills a priest and a druid when her tail explores its new direction.
10c) During phase 2 I'm on big adds. He keeps taunting them even though he's in the middle dealing with whelps, and I'm along the south wall by the entrance. He's just trying to help DPS them while the whelps are mostly dead. This time I'm ready for him because of the scraps of apologies and rage he's said during the raid. He also sends me 2 apology tells about how he's not normally a tank.
10d) Ony cleaves the last of our healers and that other tank guy (against whom it was safer to just let tank phase 3 since he couldn't control his taunt button) while she's got less than 5% left. We finish her with creative use of Lay of Hands and bubbles and all that.

I think that was it. Don't think I'm normally this kind of person; this was way above average activity. I don't chain heroics like I used to when I needed the emblems, nor do I run people through old world stuff too often (exception of BWL because there's a lot of money waiting in there)

Attempted Nexus on my 72 paladins. I was on a rampage through the instance, then immediately died on the caster lady. Fraps'd my death and uploaded it to youtube. I think I should be able to clear nexus once I'm 80.

I got my priest to 80 in AV saturday morning. Then I decided that my main team (see sig) tank and priest will be replaced with a paladin and shaman. So I made a dual box paladin+shaman team and wrote macros for each to do AV well. I leveled the team in AV from level 60-63 the rest of the day/night. I also did a few quests in outlands while waiting in the queue. I just need the team to get to level 71 to join their comrades for NR instancing.

AV this saturday was wierd. In the 70-79 bracket it was fast and furious and no queue waits. For the 60-69 bracket the game turtled because someone kept taking FWGY before RH was capped causing 30-40 minute games. Also the queue wait was long (because of turtling). I learned early on to keenly watch the map and timers on FWGY. As soon as someone capped FWGY before RH I would /afk and get the hell out (or wait on towers to time out then get out). Then quest that 15 min downtime, then re queue, then get back in. This rotation worked quite well. Less lag per XP. :)

I spent the weekend in AV with my Shaman team, after doing my handful of dailies and level 70 heroics I do each day for badges/rare mounts. Finally got the last AV badges I needed for the remaining PvP mounts, however. I still need 70 AB and 88 WSG badges, however. Going to take me another week, or two, before I'm finally finished there.

I also farmed Stratholme a bit, looking for the Baron's mount. Ran it 4 or 5 times, before I glitched the door to the slaughterhouse and decided it was time to quit for the night. I was able to get to the Baron with 39 minutes to spare, so I think I could easily hit the 5/hour max.

I'm getting an itch for leveling, though. But I'm trying to be good and work on my 100 mounts achievement. I'm at 90/100 with enough Argent badges for another 2. And I'll get the Black War Mammoth on Tuesday after the WG dailies reset, so that'll be 93/100.

Just have to endure the lame AB and WSG alliance losses for a few weeks more, and I'll be dangerously close to getting my blue dragonhawk.

Woo!

Spent the weekend on Mag organizing and leveling my Shaman.

Now with the flying mounts being at 60 the lvl 80's don't really come around much any more. So I was happy as clam killing most every alliance scum bag I came across. I'm well into 63 and I've done most every HP quest (including collections, ie "Boiling Blood", Helboar blood, etc).

On to more (collection) quests!

You lie. You have a mini fridge next to your comp. A carton of cigs ontop of that, with a ash tray and a window wide open. Then you got one of those porta potties and your sitting on it no pants. This way you can eat smoke piss poop w/e without leaving the computer.

Ulduar PUG, which surprisingly went well until the end of it, some people had to leave, and I was MT at this point and was not doing great, well I was doing ok but the mistakes some others where doing (like pulling adds that should not of been pulled) kind of killed it and at the end I was told I was not doing so good a job as the MT :(. It irked the hell out of me, only excuse I had was that I had never been in there with my guy, I stopped raiding for a while after Ulduar came out, like a month, month and a half into it. So yeah I guess when the RL said we want a more experience tank I should not of taken it bad, still irks but what ever if they find a better tank good for them they can finish a lot of it tonight.

Kinda similar vein, did ToC25 with a PuG that had a guild running 10 spots. Annoying as hell that they had one item on reserve (if it dropped) and then when everyone got into instance they added "Oh BoEs are guilds too." Now me not thinking, I'm like oh that just means patterns. I forgot about the cloaks... BiS cloak for casters drops and I dont get to even /rand 100 for it. That pissed me the hell off.

Worst part was getting to Anub and another dipshit DK decides its funny to use Path of Frost so whole raid dies to falling damage. When we wiped on Anub we told him if he did it again he was getting booted. He said he would and got booted. Really didnt matter as there was no way that group was going to kill Anub. (really low raid dps)

No i didn't forget those, I just skipped them altogether. Before accepting an insane collection I check if it's part of a chain of more collection quests or if it progresses to other types.

Seems like neutral quest givers have more collection type quests percentage-wise then the faction ones do.

Yesterday Sunday. Hmm. Freshly excited from my paladin hitting 80 a few hours before I respec'd her and went running around in 5 ToC and wiped a few times before passing out. Came back with team outside the instance, implemented the vehicle macros and killed Faction Champs after 2nd attempt. Wiped 5 times on Confessor and decided my paladin needed more gear (few lvl 70 items)

Went into AV and got a rare win. Horde is /palmface on Vindication. Went into my 2nd AV, went up to cap South Dun Bunker, got bored and headed south for fun. I was cruising along when I came across herd of Draeni mounts... ANOTHER MULTIBOXER!! I yelped IRL, no joke. We both lay down out totems and my 3day old fresh 80s shaman and 6hr old 80 pally went down like a bowling ball hitting the pins. I stayed there and watched as Jikk owned any of my fellow horde that came about. Released and got back to that area in time to cast a few spells and was stopped by the end of AV with an alliance win.

Then proceeded to chat with Jikk for a bit as my shaman got the last 3 WG marks for some new bracers and enough honor for a new cloak.

On a side note, I was talking to a guildmate I know IRL, he mentioned seeing a multiboxer with 5 female human arcane mages. This is on VIndication.

I'm not raiding on my solo main's because of the broken arm so I am playing around with my alliance 5 box team.

Been doing the first boss in dm... but for some reason, I keep losing my tank coz the healer doesnt want to heal him :( might have to start levelling up a shaman healer or come up with some better macro's for healing the tank. pwning the first boss now as I am getting used to the team and to multiboxing in general.

Other than that, I was away over the weekend drinking lots of alcohol to deaden the pain in the arm (thats my excuse and I am sticking to it) while doing a couple of dailys with my mains :)

I went out last night and bought my Priest her dual spec…now Holy/Shadow.

Decided to give Gundrak a run full DPS; I set up separate heal macro’s on my toons to shift out of form to heal when necessary. It was the fastest run I have ever made; just a tad over 30 min start to finish with the bosses all dropping in record time. The badge upgrades have made a huge difference for me; the sad part for my Spriest is that things die so fast now she cannot put up much damage as there is really no burst spells in the Shadow Priest arsenal.

This weekend I leveled up one toon's herbalism from 0 to 400 and leveled up 5 toons at once from 0 to 450 alchemy! I had spent the last week buying herbs off the AH and blew 5K or so in the process. But if you are going to level one, you may as well level 5. It was funny to see all those potions being created and skill-ups occurring at one time. I'd just hand out herbs, click a new receipe to learn, and click five times to crank them all out. Doing 5 was only about tice the work of doing one (with all the mats saved up, of course).

Now with all of them as master transmuters (in addition to the other 2 I already had), the money should roll in from epic gems. Anyway, it was actually pretty fun. That and ToC10 are keeping the game fun for me.

All I had time for was running dailies on my Rogue - did the Oracles (I've completely forgotten about it an all of my characters), did fishing and cooking in Dalaran and Shattrath, and JC... and sonovabeetch, I got Stormchops and Delicious Chocolate Cake in the Dalaran reward bag!

The Cake Is A Lie achievement, down! :D

Laughed at the fireworks after eating - cooking has SOME cool rewards!

My rogue has been on a roll with daily rewards lately, got the bone fishing pole, the croc pet, a Magical Crawdad from Mr. Pinchy, the Cake and Stormchops recipes, two days in a row the waterlogged recipe in the fishing bag.

Now, to get the Oracle's rep up, and start trying that egg for the mount!

Toyed with starting a new team, take advantage of the remaining RAF on my 5th account, it won't be much, but it will help. I'm torn between a Horde team, 4 Tauren Shaman and a Pally, or a new all Dreanii shaman/pally/druid combo...

Having recently arrived at Zul'drak for the first time.. (these are my first toons ever to 80) I decided to go run up to the amphitheater of anguish. There was a group of 2 80's (mage and hunter), a 75 shaman and a 76 tree druid starting the trials so I wander down to the killing floor and wait to help them out.

The first trial starts and I let them start their DPS before I fire off an avenger's shield and my normal dps afterwards. OMG I pull aggro with my tank without using any taunts (i guess I still had righteous fury on?).. how did I pull aggro from the lvl80 DPS?? I kept pulling aggro on every trial ..it was so funny.

Anyways, I love being on Moonguard because some RP starts between them and my team and so they stay to help me do the trials.. I'd like to think they were having fun watching me maneuver the team. We do every trial and I jumped the mount at the last trial but couldn't target too well or jump off fast enough to pick up the aggro so when the last mob was at about 30K health ..most of my team wiped except for my tank ...but hot damn it was fun.. finished him with a nice critted avenger's shield (which I have glyphed).

I was so stoked to get the Blood and Anguish achievement and my lock and druid both dinged 76 during the whole thing..I was so amped I didn't even notice!

Yesterday (Nov 10th)...

Did the dailies with my Spacegirls, 1130g in an hour.

Then actually logged the mixed team on and played for 4 hours or so.
Following a quest stacking guide, with 2 of the 5 toons having done every quest in the zone.
And 1 of the 5 having done most of them.
Collections won't be too much of a pain here.. at most 2 toons need them.
2.5 zones of collections done for 3 of the 5, is nice.

Last night (Nov 10th) I dual boxed my paladin and shaman in AV. I am really liking this duo. Basically it is a tank and healer combo. I tank galv and drek and dont have to worry about heals. AV was a chore for my warrior, but for this duo it is a lot of fun. I wrote some more macros to free up bar space (now I am running out of macro slots). Patience is the key for MBing BG's.

Superdupermacro will allow you to write more macro's than what WoW Will allow. I believe macaroon does also. Only thing is these macro's can't be put on your action bars but can be called via /click.

1 - levelled enchanting on one of my shammies to 400
2 - discovered a partial phasing fix - when I lead with my pally when flying I lose my team here and there due to phasing - when I lead with one of the shammies I don't get phasing as much - still happens but nowhere near as bad

I tried my best to get all my toons phase aligned in Ice Crown.......

I feel for you, I had the worst experience with that. My 5 leveled at different times, so it was a massive pain. I had the final zone, down in the courtyard, unphased because 3 had an Argent Tourney quest, and 2 did'nt. Took me two weeks to figure that one out.

I read that there's a new way to poll what quests you've done in 3.3, so we might see addons that will track what you've done - and tell you what you haven't. This will be HUGE for us.

Yesterday, I hammered out 25 of the 90 WSG tokens I need for my final three pvp mounts. That brings my remaining total of tokens needed for PVP mounts down to 135. Slowly getting there. This was Alliance PvP, too, so it was 22 losses, 1 win. :P Ugh. I'll be so happy when I'm done with it in the next week, or two.

I also bought my Black War Mammoth for 300 Stonekeeper's Shards. This brings my mount total up to 91, with three more I can (But haven't yet) purchased with Mark of Champions. By the time I'm done with the pvp mounts. I'll be up to 97 or 98 mounts. Then I just need to hammer out a few more argent dailies, or get lucky on the rare drops I'm farming, and I'll have my Blue Dragonhawk!

Ended up doing TotC on one of my shaman got two epics out of it, was great, but my set up was all screwy and ended up doing poorly in DPS, need to fix that. Got 2 toons to 400 cooking so I could do daily cooking. Now to get another 3 up there so I have 6 that do the dailies hehe. Also ended up in a Naxx group it was ok at first at the end it was full of fail.

Did my dailies on the Spacegirls.

Leveled the mixed team a bit more, in Howling Fjord now.
Warlock and Mage dinged 74th.
Within 10 mins or so, internet went down and did not come back up.
It was midnight, so decided on an early night.

Did my dailies on my rogue (nothing exciting today, sigh...), and rolled a Draenii shaman to look at a few things for setting up a new team.

As soon as I turned in the first quest, a level 2 started jumping around me and /whistling and asking me if I wanted to go private.

Yeah.

Typed "Dude, I'm a guy" as fast as I could, and logged out. LOL. That was enough for yesterday. :D

I've boxed all the heroics in NR except occulus last boss, H UP past the gauntlet and HoS. I did take a healer in HOS and completed that way but haven't with my own healer.

Also took my box, holy priest buddy and warlock buddy and downed patchwerk and noth the plaguebringer in naxx. Took that same group except we traded out warlock for war tank and did middle back boss in Voa 10. Was pretty happy about that. Boxxed the brewfest and halloween bosses.

In the past week I bought the heirloom shoulders and two handed swords from wg for my new dk team. Still working on comming up with a macro for that.

For now my main team are pretty much maxxed on conquest badge gear except my resto druid.

Hit revered with the Oracles tonight, bought an egg, and said "enough!" to the Oracle dailies. Did my fishing, cooking, and JC dailies, and finally knocked out the last two points of JCing to 450, and prospected some titanium that was sitting in my bank (I'm in stockpile mode). Got 5 epic gems, should be a nice little profit now on the AH when I need it. Now I need to grind out the cuts and stop buying epic gems!

Did my transmutes on my Alch, and read this forum and another, now it's time for bed. I'll get back to badge runs this weekend...maybe...I have a busy month!

(Nov 12th)

Ran the dailies on the Spacegirls.

Played the mixed team a little.
The warlock and mage dinged 74th each.
Decided to respec them both.

Warlock has gone destruction, basically using the macro from Fursphere's Macro thread, but adjusted the comma's for my spam speed - will be doing Affliction on a team, and would like this toon to feel different... and am sick of pets randomly attacking crap I did not select, so trying a destro build.

Mage was Frost, but decided to try the Arcane Blast x4, Arcane Missiles x1 castsequence build. No matter what I do with my macro, the line " /stopmacro [channeling] " will not fire. Googled a bunch of wow macro's and macro wiki's (even using copy/paste), but the Arcane Blast is interrupted by the spam. Manually clicking, the DPS is easily 5x higher then I can achieve with a click sequence. With 3.3 around sometime soon (??), and a persistent Water Elemental, went back to frost.

Today I got Enchanting and Alchemy past 400 and clearing UK Pinnacle with only 1 wipe (bad pull).

Grats on 80! Feels good, huh? :D

I spent some time last night (Saturday) redoing some of my pally tank's gear, made a few gem upgrades, and swapped in a new chestpiece, and enchants. Went over the rest of the team, and made my final Spellshock ring for the mage, and regemmed a few things, moved some macros around, and basically tightened up my macros and healing binds. I was dead tired after a long day, so I wiped on CoS H and went to bed. (Just wanted to see how bad it was).

Today, I got up, made a pot of good coffee (Costco Bay Blend beans) and took the team out, took Moorabi and Eck down, and Omorock. 3 badges a day, I like! :) My adjustments and changes are rewarding much better dps and healing, and I'm seeing a distinct improvement. The Mage is getting a little aggro greedy again, she's doing 2.2k dps reliably, and my pally is struggling to keep up, lol. It's *always* like that with my mage. My Pally was alone at the end of Eck, I messed up on a group heal on his spit, and they all went down, but I took him from 100khp down to 0 alone, I was pretty pumped about that.

Did the rogue's dailies, and I'm done for the day - have a lot to do again, so I may or may not try Prince and VH tonight, for a 5 badge day. Not really feeling dailies on the team, but we'll see, if I'm wiped I'll settle for gold.

Gonna have enough badges soon for my first piece of badge gear, need to decide if it will be shoulders, waist, or feet.

Did my dailies and did my rare mount farming lockouts. No luck on any of the mounts yet :(

Got to 300+/1000 needed for the remaining 9 Argent Tournament Mounts. Up to 92/100 mounts for the 100 mount achievement. 95 if I use the seals. I broke the less-than-100 Marks of Honor requirement for the last two PvP mounts, too. Just have 90, or so, more to go. I'm getting tired of losing BGs, though, I'll tell you what. haha

Edit: Oh! And due to me being tired of losing all the time in BGs, I worked on macros for my priest team and leveled them up to 5, just for fun. :P

My 76 team are currently doing the MINDNUMBING collection quests in Zul'drak.

Having to collect 3x3 water links per toon with a 25% droprate, then to collect 3 elem fluids... this is insane as to how many crazed water elementals I have to kill..

Finally took my 5 man team into an instance for the first time.

The pally hadn't actively quested or run an instance other than a boost since early this year, idle at 61 for eons.

The shammies I finished their RAF last December (making my raiding main late to 80 and Naxx), then picked them up for a day or two every few months, got them to 64.

Have slowly built the pieces in game and out of game to make it go, between xp heirlooms on the pally to very crude hacking up of the ISBoxer wizard output to use focus based, to even some significant hardware updates (8GB memory, Win7, tie in old monitor to go dual monitor).

Result? A lot of learning, some dying, but damn it felt good to finally be doing it for real. I still have a lot to learn, some macros to revise (need a formation macro badly).

Belagrim, Kinesia, Kinecia, Kinetia, and Kinezia went into Ramps and cleared up to the final boss in one sitting, inefficiently, clumsily, but they did. They brute forced it more than anything else, such as when Gargolmar wasn't quite out of range and the solo pull brought him too, killed the solo, ended up focused on Gargolmar, wanting to swap targs to get the healers down, then realizing that my totems and the chain lightning must have gotten them.

Yes L64 is over-level but dammit I'm a real 5 man boxer now, and it feels friggin great. Now to do many more runs of anything that amuses me and get to Northrend and beyond.

And my auction toon scanned the AH.
Rather exciting, I know.

Did a bunch of work on a guide to IS Boxer too.

Seldum - If your tank is a pally, you can cast Hand of Protection at your targets target, to force even a taunt immune mob to get off of someone. A spread out macro will alleviate the chain lightning issue a lot.

last night I set up Vuhdo + repeater regions for 5 man healing. Then jumped straight into h-VH. h-VH is a TERRIBLE instance to test setup changes. But I finished it without any wipes, a few close calls since I have to get used to clicking for heals instead of using keybinds. My overheal % dropped nearly 25% though. Much less mindless LHW / CH spamming. Not that I'm going oom on heroics or anything, but it's nice to see progress just by changing your healing method.

Anyone using ISBoxer should definitely check out repeater regions to manage your healing. Vuhdo eliminates the need for the clique addon as well.

Yesterday I ran the champs and Eadric in HToC during my lunch break. Then finished up the Black Knight when I got home. Smoooth sailing for a change (i.e. no Paletress!).

Then I did the daily heroic, Utgarde Pinnacle. This was only my second clear of that instance, because Skadi is generally a brick wall. This time, not so much! I guess I've been gearing up since last I tried it, and Skadi -- though a challenge, who did manage to kill my (soulstoned) priest when Hand of Reckoning was on a stupidly-timed cooldown -- dropped without a wipe. Nooo problem. That's great to know, 'cause it's the daily regular today.

I did a quick HVH run, 'cause it's easy badges, and then went to do yesterday's daily regular in HCoS. My last time through here, I was doing it at breakneck speed with everyone flasked, for drakey reasons. This time I thought, ahh, a leisurely run for a change, how nice. Stopped to loot, drank, just basically in no hurry. Partway through the town hall I realized, waitaminute, if I DID make it to the Corrupter, that'd mean an extra badge. I picked up speed a little, didn't stop to skin the dragonkin, but sorta went faster. With this totally lacksidasical approach, totally without consumable buffs, I still killed the Corrupter with 3 minutes to spare. Wow! All those HToC runs really made a difference.

And then fished. :)
