Alright, so Im working through this lol. I really cant figure out if VuhDo has its own normal target frame. If not thats fine, pearl works just as good.

What im really trying to do is have it select the target on mouseover and cast flash heal when I press the button.
For the logic im looking for something like
/target [target=mouseover]
/cast flash heal

I want to essentially get rid of my party bars and just use this but right now its just casting the spell and not aquiring the target which is no bueno.

Im only using it for my group to heal. But if the target frame works the same way here is what I have done to heal my group.

The group is in a separate frame (ofcause - sorted alphabetically).

I have bound a macro in Vuhdo, by draggin the macro to the designated button in Vuhdo.

I found out, after alot of fiddeling around, that if you update your healing macro, and NOT drag it to the button again, Vuhdo won't update the macro correctly. I spend maybe 1 hour before I figured this out.

So try and redrag the macro to the button you want to use..... maybe it will help?

EDIT: Also, try to look here, theres a neat guide to help out in general:

Right I can get it to cast spells, I just want it to cast & aquire the target in one click. If I cant do both in one click I will work around that I guess, but I didn't want to use party and vuhdo.

What happens when you left click? it highlights the toon, then second left click casts the spell?

It only casts the spell or aquires the target i cant get it to do both for some reason.

I was trying /target [target=vuhdo]
/cast flash of light

lemme try /target [target=vuhdo,target]

I just changed the default left-click spell to "target" and use it for selecting targets. Don't think you can target and cast in the same click with vuhdo. All my other keys can still be used to cast (alt-leftclick,shift-leftclick,rightclick etc), so it's 2 clicks to target + heal, but can be done very quickly.

All my spells fire on one click.

I'm really contemplating switching to Vuhdo.
Fewer addons is preferable to more addons.

At the moment, I'm using Grid.
And then GridCustomLayouts for an alphabetical sorting.
And then Clique to interpret my clicks.

With Clique you can set it to heal on a single click.
I've set normal left click to not be a heal, so my priest can actually target another toon, to trade with them for example.
But Alt-Left Click, Ctrl-Left Click and then Right Click or side mouse buttons each do whatever.

I'd hope Vuhdo would allow one click = one heal.
And not require click = target, 2nd click = heal.

I had the same issue with vuhdo, for healing spells, use /target vuhdo in your macro, if you want to cast a hostile spell and target off the mouseover target use /target vuhdotarget

edit: If you only want to cast 1 spell or use a /cast spell you don't need to use target. For my priest I have renew, binding heal, and flash heal in a healing click sequence macro, and for that you have to use /target vuhdo

There is no doubt in my mind that Vuhdo does one click one heal I use it all the time I am not doing anything special. Most of my spells are a simple /stopcasting /cast heal spells.

Some people are missing it, I can one click heal, holy light, decurse, or just target.

I can not one click: aquire target and put that target into the target frame of interface, and utilize the heal on this target.

Ahh, vuhdo has a target and target's target frame, you have to enable them in the options. For the target to change you have to go to the spells tab, the misc options, and check the box on the left for targets.
hope that helps

So a quick question on this, with Vuhdo is the mouse clicks being assigned a keystoke? And also how is it targeting the target on the toon which is healing? i.e. I am on my tank, my healer is on another window, I want to select my tank with my healer and cast a healing spell? How is Vuhdo doing this?
Thanks for any insight :)

I just use isboxer with click regions and set them all up the same. This way no matter what screen i am on when i scroll down to the region where vuhdu shows my group and click a buton on my mouse on that character, that character gets healed. Im just working on out of party healing atm and kinda lost. Like say im in av and i want to heal someone with 5 times chain heal. I can target him on main window but alts do not get that target. So thats only thing i need.

Oh yea why is it first thing anyone asks for when they see 5 shamans is for the star heal lol.

Cool. I have ISBoxer but I have not used click regions.
Only just starting with ISBoxer so just learning :)
BTW, do I need ClickBoxer to transmit mouse clicks or is it part of the ISBoxer Suite?

Isboxer does it all for you just on your character sets say 5 shamans ok theres an option that says something like add click region. Check that and make a hotkey mine is ctrl alt \. This opens an ingame gui. From there click the down button next to add use the top one dont member the name, its not a number actual name. Then click add.

Drag that to anywhere u want on your mains screen and set it up. Make sure when its on vuhdu have it just cover the bottom half of the vuhdu name listing. ( serach my posts for it and theres a ss of my mains screen to help u out again). just running out of time before work.

Once thats set up leave the gui open. Go to each slave open gui then to next. Once all are open and all vudhu gui's are in the same spot on each screen, click sync on the mains. What this does is makes all screens regions the same. Then hit save on each one and close it out.

Then all you gotta do on your healer is assign on vuhdu what mouse click does what heal. Ex. left mouse click chain heal, middle mouse click lesser healing, right mouse button click healing wave, button 4 on mouse click earth shield, button 5 mouse click cleansing spirit. Then for like buffs u can set it to hold alt or ctrl or some variaton and mouse click.

Since i use 4 shamans i have an oh shit alt left click all will send chain heals on whoever i target on vuhdu gui.

So once again if u need a mental pic just look up my posts its a recent one and ull see the pic. I think its in general and under im 50 and i dont mean level. Hope this helps.

For out of group healing try making a new "group window". I made one for private tanks, so you click your guys in the raid frames and assign them as private tanks. If you select the options to order loosely and by name, they will all be in the same order on each of your screens. The private tank status will remain as long as you're in the same group.

This is what i noticed about vuhdo......
If you change your macro assigned to a mouse button you must update the macro name inside vuhdo spells tab.
If you dont do this the changes you do wont get updated within vuhdo..

Here is an example to make a macro to work with vuhdo so it casts your spell on the target you want:

/cast Nature's swiftness
/cast [@vuhdo] Healing Touch
I noticed my macro didnt work either (was using the same macro with clique earlier... My druid only casted healing touch on himself...
After changing the macro he still did the same, but once i changed the name inside vuhdo options it got updated and now works like a charm. To update it in vuhdo i just removed the last letter in my macro name and retyped it... Clicked OK then voila..
Hope this helps.

EDIT:
Just noticed this was an really old thread... Anyways it might be helpful.
