Hey i need some help from some members that are experianced with arena. I currently have a team of 5 shammys that just got rated 1500+ tonight. I was doing well from week to week. Going up in rating, but i ran into the 1500+ wall tonight. I kept running into teams with 3 or 4 rezer type classes and when i kill one, they just LOS me and rez there team member. i kill another and again rez again... i had almost 20 kills in one match and i couldn't keep them from rezing. What am i missing?

will be very hard if your playing all 5 shamans yourself. even with playing 4+ healer sometimes they get rez's off you just cant be in 3 places at same time.

In your setup when you drop a target make sure you drop it in a preferred location and camp the corpse. Wait till someone comes within vicinity and drop that target. Now camp both and rinse and repeat. It's easier said than done but it's the only option.

That's good advise for anyone.

I dont know about you, but the teams i face don't have enough time to res due to the amount of dps and pressure put on their healers.

6 seconds of them not casting on a team member, means someone is dieing. If its already 5 vs. 4, somoenes ressing thats 5 vs. 3 for at least 6 seconds...

It becomes much more of an issue at high ratings and at the top of the game it's an integrated part of the match. I would say for the DK/4 Ret setup though it is less of an issue because you can put constant pressure like your suggesting, with the Shamans though you have to stop and cast - it's not as mobile.

if you control all 5, there are no ways to prevent them from rezzing if the corpses are split in different LOS. The healer can go around the pole all day. and you wouldn't be able to kill him. Unless you split your shamans to camp different locations, but this way you can't win either.

What Ellay has suggested is the only way I find effective against this. Kill one. then camp him. drink if you have to. Don't go chase their healer if he is so determined to hug the pole to avoid you. Sooner or later, they will attempt a stealth rez from different angles. Try to make your kill then. Or simply kill the dps who will try to distract you when their healer attempt to rez.

For the 2 or 3 healers team, I find it to be better to kill the healer after your initial EM nuke. Use your EM nuke on a dps. Then kill another healer rather than target another dps. This has worked better for me.

It's garbage and I don't think it should be allowed in arena at all. Once you're dead, you should stay dead. Even with a second player I find it even more intense trying to stop rezzers than the actual fight where we killed the dps. Any good team will almost never give up, they will gladly try to 50+ times over half an hour until it works. If you camp the bodies many of them will LoS you for 45 minutes and force a draw (especially on blade's edge).

We were finally going to beat a very good 2200 team that has played us like 50 times, we never even get close to beating them because they know us so well. On blade's edge, we nuked their two melee dps right off the bat, leaving them with a frost mage, disc priest, and resto shaman. This turned into a 30 minute LoS and rez cheesefest. Fear + frost nova over and over and over, invincible priest who won't drop below 50% hp even when ele mastery came back up, and a mage who would do nothing but ice lance and frost nova then go LoS again. We finally started chasing them around, only to get them to 10% hp several times then get frost nova'd and sheeped under the stupid bridge, and after ages a rez finally got off on the warrior w en I had shaman frozen in 4 different places.

Sounds like your healer isn't pulling his weight on rez protection.

He was at first, I think we each stopped like 10-15 rezzes before things just got blurry. After 20 minutes of chasing them around at one point we both found ourselves below trying to finish off a shaman at like 1% hp who survived. Probably just shoulda sat in the middle of the bridge, even though they probably would've waited for the game to time out, knowing those guys.
