After I got my pallies to lvl 80 and started the heroic grind I got burned out fairly quick. Dailies, AV, WG and the regular 80 grind just gets to me after a while. So now I broke my level 65 hunters out this weekend and got them to NR with cold weather flying and such. OMG they are so much fun. When people in AV see me coming they pretty much run because those cats i have (named them 'dog') are just OP.
So now I have my hunters on the path to 80 as well as my DKs sitting at level 75. I have 5 warriors and 5 priests somewhere around 30 or 40. I believe I will have one team of each class leveled to 80 eventually. Gear? LOL..yea right. But this is just too much fun for me. I guess I am just not the raiding/heroic type of player. I like to switch it up a lot.
So who else is like me?
if you'd like to take a few weeks off, you can sit behind my pc and lvl a few for me ;)

I am doing the same thing. I have 10 80s now. For alts I have 4 lvl31 druids(+1 80 ), 5 lvl 40 palies, 4 lvl 43 Locks ( the Wees! stars of the video in my sig ), 2 rogs at 19. Post 60 i have 4 60 mages, 4 60 shaman, 4 62 DKs, 1 65 lock ( waiting for the lower Wees to catch up ) 3 75 hunters, 1 76 Holy paly.
I also have one 29 hunter and 29 rog for BG fun with one of my guildies.
Hi! my name is Travis and I am an altaholic!

lol I am in the opposite boat. I am burned out of leveling alts to try and get as many 80's as possible.. Now I just play a couple of my teams.. Actually the only active team I play now are my ally pallies. I don't even touch my horde characters anymore where the bulk of my 80's sit.

I have 3 teams and will NEVER level another one. NEVER GDI! Oh and let me spoil the ending for you Blast3r. Hunters at 80 suck (multiboxed ones do anyways) Sorry :(
edit: More on topic, yep I'm addicted. I can't stop thinking of how I can make X team and how *(&(&*(*& awesome they will be in Y scenario. It's ridiculous really, lol.

I try to balance leveling alts with working on achievements on Arlassa. I'm up to 4 level 80 teams, two more teams at 60. I see myself leveling up a group of everything but warriors, because I need at least one of my 10 accounts on a server to be of the opposite faction for AH purposes. If they up the number of accounts per server, then I may even make a warrior team sometime. hehe.
Fun fun!

I am an altoholic too.
First team leveled to 80th... 1x Paladin + 4x Shamans.
Solo toons at 80th... a rogue I was raiding with.
Mixed team 73rd to 77th range, have been here a while now.
Disc-Priest, Arc-Mage, Feral Druid, Elem-Shaman, Aff-Warlock.
Druids at 60th, from RAF leveling.
Have been tweaking their macro's/hotkeys and IS set up a lot lately.
Have also been gathering a set of 78-80 gear with resilience for them, as they'll pvp a lot.
Warlocks at 1st level, missed the RAF.
These are horde side, and will also pvp a ton.
Have started their configuration, but not played them yet.
Will also need to transfer 10-15k, so they have everything paid up to slow flyers and cold flying at least.
Disc Priests at 60th, from RAF.
Have not decided between this team or the hunters, as the next team to level after everything posted above.
Hunters at 60th, various specs, from RAF.
Initially was to be a farming team, but they're very fun to play as well.
I'll definitely do a Worgen team, without RAF.
To enjoy the Cataclysm changes at a casual pace.
Seriously looking at a DK + Pally team, possibly a healer in there.
Also looking at Enh-Shammies as a team.
Or a rogue team.
Or a death knight team.
Would like to have a full melee and melee + healer team.

Try 1 prot and 4 ret pallies. :) All melee and plenty of healing even for heroics.

I think it really helps that I can 10 box, because then 10 mans and other content is possible by myself, which pushes me towards further goals past heroics and keeps me from wanting to switch my team. I'm kind of hoping that I can get well enough geared to sneak into some PUGs of higher raid content just to see it. I guess it's just too bad I took SO much time off from the game. I should have come back when 3.2 was released. I had been gone from the game since February.

The funny thing about this is that at first I was thrilled at running a team so that wouldn't have alt-itis. I figured if I bring along all the chars I want, I won't need to worry about alts. So I made the 1st team listed in my sig. They were really fun, but got me thinking about group synergies. So I made the all-melee team listed 2nd in my sig. That team is without a doubt my favorite and they've been mowing down everything on their way to & through outland.
Now I have an issue. With 20 days of RAF left, I have the urge to use it on my PvP team. Or ... an all druid team that could theoretically do anything & everything by dual-speccing. Decisions, decisions.
If they collect stamps. I collect characters...

There is something very cool about an all melee group. Also having one druid at 80 make me realize how amazing an all druid group would be and at the same time, crippling. The mobility is pretty amazing. I never get ganked as a druid. Cyclone, travelform, outofcombat, Flight Form. It brings a tear to the eye. Just wish they had a more laid back dps macroing ability as boomkins.

I'm enjoying my 80 team, but I have a ways to go to get my badge gear, at 3 badges a day. I'm trying each instance to get a feel for the fights, and seeing that I need that gear to get much further - which is fine.
But yeah, I feel the burnout. I cure it by just not playing, I have enough to do in my world as it is, but last weekend I took a break from the instance grind and popped my 3 DKs out of their box and game them a whirl...I'm just not feeling DKs. I don't know, I just can't seem to get into them.
So, I powerleveled one of my enchanters into an alchemist - I'm sitting at 425 and doing transmutes already. :) Cost me maybe 1200g, no problem, I had an Avool's drop, sold it for 1400, and sold a Noble's card.
Now, I'm thinking it's time to start a Horde team, from scratch, and I'm gonna do the Pally and 4 shaman.
Question is...level the shaman with the pally in the Blood Elf zones, or vice versa?

Yep, they look good on paper...don't pan out as well in game. In PvP they lack the burst and fear immunity of shammies (although their AoE is amazing). In PvE, Bears are fine, altough for tanking, Pallys and DK's probably bring more to a group in terms of buffs / debuffs. For Boomkins though it is extremely difficult to manage the eclipse procs on multiple toons at the same time - and that is a significant chunk of DPS wasted.
I still love my druid team for BG's though. :)
Cheers,
S.

With InnerSpace, specifically Keymaps and an addon to announce Eclipse procs, you can do fairly well with Eclipse.
Three Keymaps per druid is easy.
This will probably work with one unique Keymap per druid and two generic Keymaps.
Generic Keymap 1 is your Wrath spam, or your IS/MF/Wrath click sequence.
Number 2 is your Starfire spam, or your IS/MF/Starfire click sequence.
Both of these have 1 (or your spam key) as the hotkey to activate them.
And they output the key of choice, depending on where you put the Wrath and Starfire macro's.
Then you need a Keymap per druid for control.
The control keymap has two steps.
Step one activates Generic Keymap 1 for that specific druid, and deactivates Keymap 2.
Step two activates Generic Keymap 2 for that specific druid, and decativates Keymap 1.
I created this with three Keymaps per druid.
But noticed on the Keymap state, that you can set a target.
So theoretically the dps keys (generic keymap 1 and 2) will work as two keymaps for all of the druids.
With an addon like MSBT, you can configure it to announce whatever message you want for a proc.
And you can do this on a per toon basis.
So when Eclipse procs, have it announce that toons keybind for the toggle macro, instead of just Eclipse.
Then you just spam your dps key, and click the eclipse toggles as the MSBT announces them.
Probably select something on the right side of the keyboard, if your spam key is 1.
Or something on the left side, if your spam key is on the right.
A great configuration by Nolife for MSBT can be found here: http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=25043
First at 80 was my 4 x Hunters + Druid team. They were just so fun to level they took over my 4 x Shamans + Paladin team. Now the hunters are basically left aside, though. I did a bit of PVP with them, nothing serious.
The Shamans + Paladin team finished the heroic grind, not much I can get for them so I am waiting for next patch for the new badge. I just through the daily heroic when it's one I know I can do in about 30 minutes.
My third team is a mixt team made of old (solo or dual) characters : Paladin tank, shaman healer, shadow priest, warlock and rogue. They are spread between level 63 and 71. Planing to level them in instances when the get to minimum level for Northrend dunjons.
The third team is a bit left aside now because I am having so much fun levelling my 5 x Arcane Mages. I want to battleground with them, using mirror image and invisibility. Should be fun.
My fifth group is a whole DK team, it is only level 62, though.
Then I have enough level 60 characters for at least 2 other teams, but I don't even want to think about it.
I would really like to do a whole druid group. Perhaps if I decide to 10-box and get some new RAF'ed accounts.
Good thing the levelling part is what I prefer in the game ...

Amen. Leveling is what I enjoy the most. I don't mind the initial heroic gearing either.

I'm satishfied with my all druid team so far. Probably not the most imba group setup but looking at the moos videos they are doing okey even later on. And I can go full boomkin, melee, or whatever I like.
If I ever where to go for another group I would go for a 4*mages and 1 pries setup and go pvp.

Yes there is ... no mana breaks;)!!!

I hear you. The best part is blasting through those middle levels and watching your teams powers (and synergies) ramp up very sharply.
Definitely going to be giving 5 druid a try once Cataclysm comes out. It'll give me a reason to start over in the new world as well as check out the worgen starting zone. Until then, it'll be a few levels at a time with the locks & instancing with the melees.
