Ok ive been looking over other peoples and been trying new ui's. I have been using macaroon for the longest time now but with the idea of not being updated im being forced to change.

So far ive been working with xperl i like the portraits and the ability of seeing that all my characters are casting and such. So i guess that ones a plus for me so far.

Then i downloaded dominos and was like omg. Im like totally lost setting this one up. Dont know if there is a tutorial or if anyone is willing to give me a hand to get it set. If not i am almost tempted to go back to standard ui but add the macro enlarger.

So my question is out of all the UI's whats most people had success with and takes up less space and memory thanks. Oh yea what should i check on addons to use for xperl or should all parts be checked and used.

I personally went with Pitbull.
Not really a whole lot of difference between Pitbull, Xperl or others.

I was looking for a party/raid frames addon, which would sort alphabetically.
Did not find what I was looking for, but found Pitbull to be the most attractive frames of those I looked at.

Ended up with Grid + Grid Custom Layouts and Clique for the click casting.
But so many people are singing the praises of Vuhdo, will definitely have to check that out.

I don't use a bars addon, although the wow default bars aren't very nice looking...
A patch basically cripples a UI, until the bar is updated.
My roommate uses Domino's and his UI looks very neat.
But alas, I have no experience with it for you.

you use macaroon and have problems with Dominos? It's really not that hard to figure out. Every option explains itself.

Yea i know i just got frustrated working with the bars and attaching things to some so gave up. So now i use 3 action bars from regular ui. Action bar one then bottom left and bottom right. I worked everything out and put click thru with vuhdu for healing in a line right above the action bars. Now i have plenty of room so meh. One day ill work on a new ui set up.

Today just took to much outta leveling my 5 shamans are less then 500k from 75 and would have been if i wasnt messing around with new settings and stuff.

Using the option UI Scale, you can get a ton of extra space even with the default UI.

Also, there are six bars, so 72 buttons to put spells/macro's on.
Not sure if 72 is enough keybinds for every boxing composition.
Still, I believe you can hide the bars you don't want to see them.

Less things that can break in the UI is good.
Too bad the blizzard UI isn't as attractive as a lot of the addons out there.

I used to have Macaroon installed, coupled with Pitbull and a few other mods to make my UI really nice.

But I must admit I reverted back to "basic" wow action bars and im only using Pitbull on my Main Char now.

I got tired of my buttons/macros not working after each patch, or I had to tweak stuff to make it work again. Now I try to keep it as classic as possible.

Using Vuhdo, and I highly recommend it for healing.

I've been playing with vuhdo as well, great for healing, but it also allows you to cast any spell, currently have it set to shift left and right click for polymorph and hex
