when does this arena season end???

need to know when season 7 ends!!! so close to 1800 and my partner is saying it ends this tues.. but its only been 4 weeks they are usually 3 months...

Usually right after or in conjunction with a new content patch. So in this case right after patch 3.3 is my guess.(week or two after)

Season 8 starts at patch 3.3, it has been announced.
If I'm not mistaken, usually it ends one week before the other one starts.

As a wild guess I'd say patch 3.3 is coming around Mid-December. This supposition is based on the content we see ulocked in the PTR.

It doesn't necessarily always end on a major patch, but I imagine it's still about 6-8 weeks out. I think this is only week 7 so far.

I read it in mmo-champion announcements a while ago but I'll look for it.
Again, just a hunch but it has always been like that, a new boss is added in Wintergrasp that'll drop T10 items and they've always dropped the corresponding new season items too.

Will look for the place I read it of course.

LOL this is the annoucement? and it "hasnt always been like that". These are just new models for season 8, the only season where the new arena season started the same day as the patch was season 5 (also s1-s4). You said it was announced that it would start on patch 3.3. Thus why I asked for a link because I knew you were wrong.

Maybe introduce means something different than what I think it does. As a literal translation to my main language, it means start like the introduction of a book is its beginning.
But to be honest I don't want this to become a who's right or wrong... tried to give my pov to the OP tha's all. If you think I'm wrong and you're right or any other way, I don't care. They may be wrong too mmo-champion but I still see them as one trustfull ressource. Again, if I'm wrong, if they're wrong, how to know, what to do?

If you read my post with a bit more attention you'd have noticed too that the "it has always been like that" was directed to new VoA Boss and this ONE... well... hmmm... is MAYBE coming (hope that suits you) - they usually drop New Season Gear. Again, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it's patch day, maybe it's not.

It's hard for me to believe that they'll do one of the following things:

New boss comes, drops Relentless then one or two weeks later (based on your prediction) his loot table changes and starts dropping Wrathfull;
New boss comes, drops no PvP related items then one or two weeks later (based on your prediction) his loot table changes and starts dropping Wrathfull;
New boss won't be there at patch day because hell wait for new season to start.
Again I can be wrong, damn it sucks because you'll LOL again. At least it makes someone happy...

I get no profit from misleading or lying to anyone here as I get no pleasure on LOLing at others' posts trying to discredit people. I showed more evidence that it will start than you showed it won't start.

My main goal was to assure OP of not starting next week which seemed to be his only concern.

True, it's early compared to the usual around 14 weeks of a season but true too that Blizzard will change that at their whim without having to formally annouce it to players.
