Does anyone own/know/tried etc any 1 of these?

Looks absolutely awsome, especially the flag ship one, though hard to justify that amount of cash for a desk
I know it's "racing oriented" but it still looks comfortable

Reminds me too much of the dentist's office. I'd be scared the whole time I sat in it that somebody's about to jab me with novocaine. :)

A guy I work with.. he was in charge of buying one of these for "his bosses kid". (easist way to describe it).
Basically he said after dealing with "very rude people" for about two weeks, he changed his mind and had our on site metal shop build one. Its in progress right now... lots of parts rolling in for it.
I think its a really cool concept, but omg its expensive. And if the customer service is as bad as my buddy made it sound... ya....
Now, my best friend has been trying to convince me to build one of these things for him - as the overall design is very simple. I'm still considering doing it. Although I told him he has to find the damn chair/seat for it. lol
They appear simple as could be to build, the chair would be the hardest/most expensive part.
But from the company in my opinion it's way to expensive like you said, and if they are rude to the extent of intolerable then it may be a "keep searching" thing...

Personally I don't see the appeal of these specialized chair/desk combo's.
I think the only reason I would even think about something like this is if I needed some specialized controls for each hand (i.e., not a keyboard) and some foot pedals.
I built one myself just using metal around my shop and a torch... didnt like any I saw being advertised. Worked out well since I was able to set up a 5 screen/5kb mount without having to mess around with placement.....just hope I never have to move.

If you're going to spend that much on a custom table, may I suggest:

Have to agree with Multi both of them are ugly. Highly doubt I would pay a lot of money for any of them, I got a corner desk, Wal-Mart special and just waiting for it to fall apart, hell the damn thing is made out of particle board and as cheap as it gets, it had already fallen apart before, but got some elbows and stuff and reinforced it, and its about 9 years old going on 10. When it does fall apart I can actually build one myself, my roommate has lots of woodworking machinery so getting it done would not be an issue, most of the time he does about 70% of the work kek.
