i tried searching this topic but didnt see it posted already so.. My team is pretty much geared as they are going to get until they change the badges in next patch. so i can afford to drop a shaman and pick up someone. what would be a decent amount to charge if i let them have all the loot on a 3-4 boss heroic? Then theres CoS timed run for the mount... any suggestions would be great. Thanks

I would say a heroic is worth 3 shards, 1 void, effort, and chance of boe's.
My math and opinion:
3 shards = 100g
1 void = 50g
rest of the loot = 100g
effort = 200-500g depending on which zone.
total = 450g-750g per run

I would add in an extra 250g for a timed run with mount loot.

No one will pay 1000g, When they can just arrange a group and do it(Not like even timed CoS is hard these days)

I'd pay 500g to avoid the usual PUG nonsense, and get a Heroic achievement.

You'll spend more time finding buyers than it's worth for the extra gold.

Set a reasonable price. What would you pay to have your alts ran through if you didn't box? Find long term repeat customers. Ask them to schedule ahead of time. It'll become a quick daily for a lot more gold than dailies give you.

I don't think you'll be able to find much business for more than 200g per run.

If I were going to put time into doing something like this, I'd target people leveling in icecrown (high 70's) and charge them for runs through normal ToC. I'd also target fresh 80 DK's and Paladin for daily runs in H.ToC for the edge of ruin. These are the players who are desperate to catch up in the arms race. These are the players paying 1k for titan-steel mace when they could be paying you for the Edge of Ruin drop. You can charge them for other gear drops, or make gold sharding it while you run them for the edge.

At the absolute minimum, you'll want to charge at least the DE value of typical drops.
If you're not getting that value, you'd make more doing the run yourself.

You could advertise they get everything, including DE's of non-usable gear.
But it's got to be higher value for your time, then just running it for yourself.
Maybe charge 300-400g, depending on your servers economy.
